Nearest shops, banks, restaurants and supermarkets are situated in Salobreña, a mere 7 min drive. A large hyper supermarket can be found in Motril (10min). The town of Almuñecar is situated at about 12 km from the house. A 45 min drive will take you straight into the middle of Granada and to the worldfamous Alhambra.
Further details
Salobreña, the pearl along the Costa Tropical, has become one of the last areas along Southern Spain's coastal area, to escape the booming mass tourism of the past years. The old and whitewashed town literally clings to the steep slopes of an enormous rock overlooking the Mediterranean and is surrounded by tropical fruit orchards and lush sugar cane fields for as far as the eye can see. The old town's narrow alleys and its enormous Moorish castle serve as proof of its 6000 year history. On the other hand, Salobreña's broad 5 km beach strip is the spot for a great day under the sun. The town's beach restaurants serve delicious fresh fish dishes and cool drinks with free tapas. Villa Logro is situated on a prestigious urbanisation which provides a communal recreation area including a large communal pool, a kids pool, a tennis court, a soccer field, a basketball hoop, table tennis and a kiosk. All types of water sports are readily available all along the coast and many outdoor activities such as horseback riding, biking, walking, skiing, para gliding, tennis,... can be found close to the house.
