Notes on prices
Prices are per day in euros for two people. Christmas and Easter as High season. Also special conference events, one or two per year. No other charges. For more than 2 people add 10euros/day per person, max 4 people.
Changeover day
Arrival usually 2 pm, exceptions if the apartment was unoccupied that day. Departures by 11 am.

Notes on accommodation
Please note I have another apartment one hour by train north of Barcelona, in Calella de la Costa. Please ask. There is plenty of availability at the moment. I try to keep the calendar up-to-date, please check for availability for your required dates.
Accessibility
There is a lift in the building. It is on the fifth floor, making it a penthouse.
Outside
There is a small terrace with a table and chairs to enjoy that evening drink or dining alfresco.
Coast/Beach
Barcelona has several beaches, reached from the apartment via Fontana metro station, only a few stops away, also walkable, probably about 3 miles. A must is visiting Villa Olνmpica, with its many restaurants, bars and shops. At night offers great atmosphere. Please enquire about another apartment by the beach located 30 miles north of Barcelona.
Special interest holidays
Close to Fontana metro station. Exciting Gaudi's 'Parque Guell' is a short bus ride away, or uphill walk of about 2 to 3 miles. From the metro station you can travel to all areas of Barcelona to suit your Barcelona viewing itinerary. Must view the fountain in Montjuic, open late on weekends. Enquire with the Tourist office or online.
Travel
Nearby there is Montserrat, an unusual grey impressive mountain range. There is a monastery, restaurant, etc.
Closer there is the hill of Tibidabo. An exciting hill with an amusement park, a beautiful church, fantastic views of Barcelona etc. Metro to Av. Tibidabo, then the famous Blue Tram to the Funicular which will take you to the top of the hill.
Distances
Barcelona airport is only a 25 minutes ride from Passeig de Gracia station (2 stops from Fontana metro station). One every 30 minutes.
Further details
Another hill to visit is Montjuic. At the right-hand side of the palace you will find the 'Pueblo Espanol', with replicas of streets and building from all over Spain. There is a teleferic to travel to the top, where there is an old castle, restaurant, discotheque etc.
Booking notes
You will need to pay a deposit of 200 euros to secure your reservation, refundable at the end of your stay. Full payment required before you take occupation of the apartment.

About the owner
Originally from Barcelona, have been living in the UK for many years now. Have a couple of properties in Spain which I rent out in order to finance building work for a new residence near Barcelona, where I am hoping to spend more time in the future. Have three children and eventually hope they will also spend time there.

Inherited from my mother.
Unique benefits of the property
Fantastic location in the centre of the city. Easy access to all areas of the city. Being an attic, is quiet and it is very comfortable as I have recently spent a small fortune in the complete high standard refurbishment.
