Garden maintenance included. Linen provided. Ideal for family holidays. Kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, freezer, fridge, hob, microwave, oven, washing machine. Outside barbecue, garden, parking, swimming pool, terrace. Children welcome, non smoking only, suitable for elderly or infirm. Local activities include cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, swimming, tennis, walking. We can provide telephone and internet access if required, in which case we ask for a deposit. Nearest airport is Santiago de Compostela (SCQ), about 12 miles from the house.

Changeover day
Normal changeover day is Friday, but sometimes is possible to have some flexibility. Please note that expected arrival time is 5 to 9pm and departure time before 10am. Inquire if you have difficulties to meet these times.

Accessibility
The property is not specially prepared for people with mobility problems, but it is of easy access as the ground floor has only one small step to go into the house, and the garden is at the same level outside.
Outside
The property includes a large size mature garden (2.500 m2) fully enclosed and safe for children. There are many cosy 'corners' where to seat outside, in the front and in the back garden, at the pool terrace or at the far end with a playground for football or any other sport.
Coast/Beach
Coast is just at 36km from the house (Noia) and a new motorway has reduced driving time to 20 min.There are fabulous beaches all around Noia, at another 5 min drive from there.
Golf
There is a 9 hole golf course at 20 min drive from the house, and another 18 hole at 40 min.
Travel
Santiago de Compostela international airport is just at 20 min drive from the house, and there are direct connections to different airports in Europe, and with any route trough Madrid.
There are also another two airports in Galicia, at less than 1 hour drive from Santiago: Vigo and La Corunna. The Porto airport in near Portugal is only at 2 hours from Santiago by motorway.

Pontevedra at 60km (30 min by motorway).
Vigo at 87km (45 min by motorway).
Porto (Portugal) at 230km (2h by motorway).
Further details
There are a couple of bars and one restaurant at walking distance from the house (600m). Supermarkets, pharmacy, medical center, shops, etc all around and reachable in 5 minutes at the most.
Booking notes
40% booking deposit to be paid by bank transfer. Balance to be paid in cash at arrival or also by bank transfer 4 weeks before arrival. Balance can be split in two payments if you want. Please inquire. There is also a security deposit to cover small damages to the house.

Albert, Bristol, UK - Thank you for the use of villa Salgueiros for the past week. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thought the villa was tremendous. The garden was lovely and we watered the plants every day. The pool was idyllic and to sit BBQing each night with a glass of wine very relaxing.
We also managed to get to your restaurant and found the food excellent. We had time to spend a day in Santiago and another day went to Noia and then round the coast. Thank you for your recommendations for these trips. All in all a lovely break and one we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for your patience and help.
