Sureda Dels Llops is situated on flat land, on a country lane at the foot of the Gavarres Mountains, facing the sea. It is a detached farm house set in country side. The house has a construction area of 315 sqm. The land comprises, 2 olive groves, countless fruit trees, children's garden, sand pit, flood lit 5 a side grass football pitch and a private pool measuring approx 6x18m, it also has an attached children’s splash pool. There are extensive natural gardens, with a hammock. There is a seating area next to the pool with a table and a separate BBQ area over looking. The distance to the beach is 2800m. The interior is simple and rustic and has a mix of warm colours with a relaxed atmosphere. The house has a splendid view of the Mediterranean Sea. You can reach the swimming pool through short stairs, but is also accessible without stairs. Here you can fully enjoy the Spanish sun and outdoor life. Perfect for groups and families alike.

Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Saturday. Please try not to arrive before 4pm. The departure time is 10am due to the cleaning schedule.

Kitchen: Ground floor kitchen with large American style fridge/freezer with water filter, microwave, dishwasher, oven, hob, toaster, kettle and double sink. Ample plates, cutlery glassware etc for guests.
Utility Room: Washing Machine, ironing board and iron.
Living Rooms: Large ground floor sitting room with dining table, 2 sofas 50' plasma TV and satellite decoder box with free to air channels. DVD and video player, cold water aquarium. 3 double sets of French door which access the balcony, terrace and garden.
Other: Outdoor cold feed shower around the pool.

Towels (except beach towels) and linen are included within the rental cost. There can be a light mid stay clean for 2 week bookings for a supplement.

Notes on accommodation
Babysitting can be arranged at a supplement. The house is sourced by natural water and therefore has to be used normally but with discretion. it is a suitable house for children with a normal stair way to the first floor. wifi. English and Spanish speakers available to assist you during your stay.

Access to Bedroom 8 is from the ground floor sitting room. This bedroom is 3x7m apx and could quite easily accommodate more than 2 beds should you require it. Please note this room is furnished with folding single beds.

Accessibility
It is possible to access all facilities using the front door which does not involve having to use the outdoor steps. Which in our opinion makes it suitable for the older client and clients with reduced mobility, but unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair access but please contact and will try to accommodate you. Please note This is a rural property with large areas of tilled land.

Outside
This is a great house for large groups of people young and not so young. In addition: There is a small enclosed garden at the rear with a sand pit and swings. An outside dining areas and seating. Beautiful pool 6x18m (enclosed), attached 2 x 2m baby pool. This is one of the largest private pools in the Costa Brava region. The pool has a cold shower and BBQ area. 5 a side floodlit real grass football pitch. 2 olive groves. Fruit trees. The property itself backs on to forestland thick with pine and oak trees. At the furthest point from the house is a tennis court area currently under construction. This will not be ready for the summer of 2011.

Coast/Beach
Many of the local beaches have blue flag status. 2.8km to San Antoni de Calonge. 2.9km to Palamos. 9.6km to Playa daro.

Golf
Golf Mas Nou at 5 miles. Golf Costa Brava at 6 miles. PGA Catalunya at 15 miles. 2 More golf courses at 20 miles.

Special interest holidays
This property could easily be used for walking holidays as it is situated at the base of the Gavarres. It is also a great base for cycling holidays. There are many local scenic drives.

Travel
Car is essential. Girona airport approx 35 mins drive. Barcelona airport approx 1 hour 35 mins drive. Perpignan airport approx 1.45 hours drive.

Distances
Towns and villages by car. Sant Antoni de - Calonge Sea front town 1.5km / about 5 mins. Calonge - Medievil Village
2.5km / about 6 mins. Palamos - Large port town 3.5km / about 8 mins. Playa DÁro 10km / about 12 mins.

Supermarket. 1.5km/about 3 mins drive. Restaurant 1.0km/about 3 mins drive. Stables 5 mins walk. There are banks within 5 minutes drive. Public tennis courts within 5 minutes drive. Aquadiver Water Park 10-12 minutes drive. Windsurfing, Catamaran. Sant Antoni 5 mins. Sailing, Scuba Diving and boat hire. Palamos 8 mins drive. The football pitch is closed for re seeding between mid march till the end of April.
