Pleasant 5 minutes walk into La Cala with its blue flag beach and Spanish charm, many restaurants, shops, banks and outdoor market. There are also restaurants and shops nearby should you not want to venture too far. Good coastal transport links, so not necessary to hire car. There are 25 Golf courses within a 25km area Chaparrel within walking distance, Noria Golf, La Cala Hills, Riviera, Miraflores to name but a few. The Costa del Sol horse racing course is approx 1 kilometre, short travelling distance to Aquaparks. During the winter months the Sierra Nevada mountains are just 1 and half hours making it an ideal skiing location. If you wish to explore the area further Gibraltar is just 1 hour away along with inland Ronda with one of the oldest bullrings in Spain.

The apartment is newly refurbished with new floor tiles throughout and new bathroom. To ensure the apartment is kept clean and fresh for all guests, we ask that people kindly refrain from smoking in the apartment.
Accessibility
Apart from a small lip on the main door the apartment would be suitable for people with mobility problems. The shower enclosure includes a small seat. Whilst the apartment is on the 6th floor, there are 2 lifts to all floors.
Outside
Small gated secure landscaped gardens with large swimming pool, outside showers and toilet, washing and drying area, shopping facilities and car parking.
Coast/Beach
5 minutes walk to the local beach. La Cala has a blue flag sandy beach with a good selection of beach restaurants. There are many easy accessible beaches and resorts to visit along the coastline.
There are some local water sports, and the Aquaparks in Torremolinos and Fuengirola are easy accessible as is Benalmadena Marina with sea life centre and picturesque Port.
Marbella and Puerto Banus is a short distance away by transport.
Golf
There are 25 Golf courses within a 25km area Chaparrel within walking distance, Noria Golf, La Cala Hills, Riviera, Miraflores to name but a few.
Skiing
During the winter months the Sierra Nevada mountains are just 2 and half hours making it an ideal skiing location. The resort has numerous runs of varying difficulties to satisfy all levels of skiers. Natural snow is supplemented by snow cannons on some runs, and many skiers are pleasantly surprised to find that because of southerly position the air temperature is usually warmer than other resorts. Depending on snow levels, the season generally runs from the end of November or the beginning of December until some time in April.
Special interest holidays
Caba-pino beach is a well known naturist beach, and only a short distance away.
Travel
Malaga airport is 25 minutes away by transport. It is not essential to hire a car as public transport is easily accessible. The train runs from Malaga airport to Fuengirola and there are very good coastal links by bus as well as excellent taxi services.

Local shop within the apartment complex and area boasts a large number of bars and restaurants. The quaint village of La Cala is just a 10 min walk. where you can find further restaurants and bars along with supermarket, shops and banks.

We have owned the apartment for 10 years, and use it as our second home, which must not be confused with an apartment purchased purely for rental purposes. We believe that your holiday should be truly memorable. With this in mind when choosing our apartment, we make the point that it meets with a higher standard than you would expect. The apartment is only for families or couples, who will hopefully respect our second home.

The Spanish charm of the area was one of the reasons for choosing an apartment here. It is ideally located between Marbella and Fuengirola. So giving you a choice of locations during your stay.
Unique benefits of the property
We chose the 6th floor due to the fantastic views of the Mediterranean and African Coast. The bars and restaurants close by are warm and welcoming, and the beach is only a short walk away. We feel that the secured gardens and pool give a relaxed peaceful holiday that you deserve.
