This luxurious villa is on the popular Roda Golf and Beach Resort in the Murcia region of Spain and is located just 10 minutes from Murcia's San Javier airport and the sandy beaches of the Mar Menor. It is also just five minutes from a shopping centre and the lively holiday resort town of Los Alcazares with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Roda is home to the first PGA golf academy in Spain and is an ideal resort to take golf classes in the sun. On site facilities include the Dave Thomas designed 18 hole golf course, PGA golf academy with state of the art teaching facilities, Pro-shop, driving range, putting green, clubhouse, wi-fi hot spots, international restaurant, snack bar, mini-market, communal gardens and swimming pools, tennis and paddle courts, football pitches, basketball courts, children's play areas and 24 hour security. A cot and highchair, laundry services, airport pick-ups and a selection of welcome packs can be provided by our management company if requested.

Notes on accommodation
Welcome packs, airport transfers, cots, highchairs provided upon request. The villa is non-smoking and we do not allow pets. Double bedroom 1 has patio doors opening on to a sunny balcony which overlooks Roda's championship golf course. Twin bedroom 3 has patio doors which open on to the rear garden. There are also 4 sun loungers.
Accessibility
The property is suitable for people with mobility problems as one bedroom and bathroom is situated on the ground floor. There is parking near the entrance door to the villa.
Outside
There is a high quality patio set for 6 persons. Four sun loungers. An electric barbecue for outdoor cooking. The patio has fitted wooden blinds to shade from the sun. The large shared swimming pool is a few steps from the rear of the villa. The villa has security shutters on all windows. The front and rear garden are hedged and maintained to a high standard.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of Los Alcazares are located just five minutes away by car. The private Beach Club at La Manga is opened in the high season. Transfers can be booked at the Clubhouse. Facilities include a restaurant and bar, pool, changing rooms, lounge area with Wi-fi, private beach and a large amount of sunloungers. Towels are provided.
Golf
The villa is located on the Dave Thomas designed 18 hole golf course at Roda Golf and Beach Resort. Visitors to this apartment enjoy a 20% discount on green fees. On site facilities include a PGA Academy on site with its own resident teaching professionals and high tech equipment like Trackman, GASP etc., pro-shop, driving range, putting green, clubhouse, wi-fi hot spots, international restaurant, snack-bar, mini-market, communal gardens and swimming pools, tennis and paddle courts, football pitches and basketball courts, children's play-areas and 24 hour security. The club house facilities are truly stunning and a match for anything available in Spain. These include Los Collados de Roda restaurant which offers fantastic quality at extremely reasonable prices and a lively bar.
Travel
Murcia, San Javier airport is located just 10 mins from the villa. Alicante airport is located just 50 mins away. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Murcia city is just 40 mins away. Cartagena is just 30 mins away. Alicante is 1hr away. Los Narejos is only 1 mile and San Javier and Los Alcatares are 5 miles away.
Further details
There is a small shop on site at Roda Golf for essentials and there are a number of large supermarkets as well as lot of local shops in Los Alcazares. The best shopping centres are at Dos Mares, San Pedro, Espacio Mediterraneo, Cartagena, Nueva Condomina and Thader in Murcia. All of these are 15- 35 minutes away.
The resort and is only a 5 min drive from the Mar Menor with its 7km of flat promenades, fabulous beaches and the centre of Los Alcazares. This is a typically Spanish town with many delightful restaurants, tapas bars, banking, supermarkets and shops. The area is extremely flat therefore cycling is an ideal way of slowing down and trying out some of the beaches and bars! There are many street markets. Mondays: San Pedro del Pinatar. Tuesdays: Los Alcazares Town Centre. Wednesdays: Santiago de La Ribera. Thursdays: San Javier. Fridays: Torrevieja. Saturdays: Los Narejos and Torre Pacheco. Sundays: Cabo de Palos. Why not explore the Mar Menor Islands? There are five uninhabitated islands in the Mar Menor. Isla del Baron (or Isla Mayor) and Isla Perdiguera are located near the centre of the lagoon and the other three Isla del Ciervo, Isla Rondella and Isla del Sujeto are grouped together near the southern end of the La Manga strip. Isla del Ciervo is connected to La Manga by a short causeway. Isla Perdiguera is a popular destination for boat excursions with bars and restaurants on its small harbour. Ferries run frequently from Los-Alcazares and other towns on the Mar Menor in the Summer. Fancy something different then why not try a mud bath. The water and the mud in the Mar Menor have a high concentration of minerals which has been found to carry healing powers for people suffering arthritis, rheumatism, tendinitis, and joint ailments, skin ailments, as well as enhancing blood flow around the body.
Booking notes
Booking deposit of 50% of total to be paid within 7 days of booking. Balance to be paid six weeks before the start date. Reservation will be cancelled in the event of non payment of the balance. In the event of cancellation, we will make every effort to re-let the property and refund your money less a £50 cancellation fee. However, in the event that we are unable to do this we will not be able to refund the deposit. £50 security cheque required to be held against damage or lost key.

Paul - We all came to play golf!!and had a wonderful time on the beach. We made many new friends around the excellent pool. We found there were a number of excellent restaurants with Rosalinds and Bayside being our favourites.
Anne - We had a fantastic time at Roda, the villa was very modern, spacious and comfortable. The complex is very well maintained and quiet, we quite often had the swimming pool to ourselves! We will definitely be visiting Roda again next year.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We purchased the property in 2009. We had viewed properties all over the World. With the property situated on a premier golf club managed by the De Vere Group you could not ask for more. The beaches are fabulous and getting here is easy. We live near Cardiff Airport - 2 hours later we are in the Villa. It's only a 5 minute taxi ride from the airport. We get here as quickly as visiting London!!
Unique benefits of the property
There is easy access to the property - with parking facilities outside the door for two vehicles.
The Swimming pool is close by, but, not to close if you want to laze in the sun on the patio.
The villa has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom which makes it amenable for disabled access.
