The property benefits from two large terraces offering panoramic and uncluttered views of the sea and Sierra d'Irta national park. It comes newly furnished and is beautifully tiled, with central heating throughout. Sky TV, DVD player, and a fully-fitted state-of-the-art kitchen. This is our regular get-away-from-it-all holiday home. My kids aged 5, 9 and 10 love it and the views will stay with you long after you return. There is no better way to unwind and free the soul. Perfect for the family but also for a romantic getaway.
Outside
The house is surrounded by a garden that has a bougainvillea-draped fence on three sides, providing privacy from the residential area to the southeast and east and clear views of the pine forest to the rear, west, and southwest. There are a variety of trees including olive, almond, palm, agave and cypress, as well as a 4m x 8m rectangular swimming pool and a full set of garden furniture. There is a small BBQ set and sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
A sandy cove is a 5-10 minutes walk away. 4 larger blue flag beaches are also within walking distance further south along the coast. If you're more adventurous go north and you can find rock pools, secluded sandy inlets and unbridled Mediterranean nature.

Two courses within hour's drive.
Travel
Nearest airports are Castellon (20 mins away, expected to open April 2012); Valencia (Ryanair, Easyjet, Iberia; 1hr away); Reus (Ryanair, Air 2000, Thomson; 1 hour 15 mins away; and Barcelona (Easyjet, BabyBMI, Iberia, etc, 2 hrs away).
Distances
The Aquarama water park is less than half an hour away, as is Sergio Garcia's local golf club. World class diving is available off the nearby Collumbrete Isles, with trips organised daily from the local marina (sailing, bike hire, water skiing, etc, also available here). Other local facilities inc beach volleyball, tennis, horse riding, paragliding, and a superb go-karting track. Top flight Spanish footy at Villarreal, Valencia and Levante is 40-60 mins away. Downtown Barcelona is 2 hours away.
Further details
There are several good restaurants nearby serving local delicacies such as BBQ'd artichokes or asparagus, as well as a range of grilled fish and paellas - from Valencia's standard meat and beans paella to rice with lobster or rice with monkfish, cuttlefish and cauliflower (We'll tell you where). The local fruit, cheese, wine and bread are also excellent. Facilities include a well-staffed walk-in doctor's surgery, a lively marina, tourism info centre, ball park, video hire and a full range of sporting options.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking and is only refundable in the event of a cancellation if less than six weeks before check-in date. A further deposit is required when the keys are handed over in case of any damage but will be refunded once the house keys are returned by post.
