Casa Luz is a beautiful villa set in a rural environment surrounded by an orange orchard and an extensive organic vegetable garden. It is just a few minutes drive from the popular Atlantic coastal resort of Conil de la Frontera and the magnificent beaches and coastline of the Costa de la Luz. We can offer Bed and Breakfast for up to six people with a separate bathroom. Dinner is optional three times per week using our own organic vegetables. Guests will have the use of a tranquil shaded terrace, a swimming pool and a large garden. We can also offer professional surfing lessons, yoga, massage and kite surfing. We provide bikes for hire for those wishing to explore the local area without using a car.

Bedroom 1 with double bed, fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinets.
Bedroom 2 with double bed, fitted wardrobe chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.
Bedrrom 3 with twin beds, fitted wardrobe, chest of drwers.
All rooms have ceiling fans and shutters.
All three bedrooms share the same bathroom equipped with bath / shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin.
Guests are not allowed to use the kitchen. During the summer tea/coffee making facilities are offered, there is an outside fridge and picnic area.
Bath and hand towels and linen are provided. The beds are made daily and the rooms are cleaned and bedding changed mid week.

 


Outside
The villa is on a half hectare (about 1 acre) plot that includes extensive gardens and lawns, a swimming pool (9m x 4.5m), a vegetable garden, 2000sq.m of orange trees and three terraces. The pool, terraces and gardens are available for guests to use and enjoy. The pool is not heated but in mid summer can reach temperatures up to 30°C.

Coast/Beach
The closest beaches are in Conil and Roche about 10 minutes drive or 25 minutes by bicycle. The beaches in Conil tend to be busy during the summer but provide all the usual beachside amenities. There are quieter beaches and coves as well as several naturist beaches.

Golf
Golf courses are available at La Barrosa, Novo Sancti Petri and Montenmedio.

Special interest holidays
Surfing, surf lessons and surf holiday packages are available through our partner business "Trafalgar Surf Trip". TST can also provide kite surfing and yoga courses.

Travel
Jerez is the closest airport (60km 45 min drive) followed by Gibraltar (110km /75 mins), Seville (150km/90 mins) and Malaga (230km/2.5 hours). Car hire is recommended but not essential as we can arrange to collect you from Jerez (only) and there are buses from the other airports to Conil. Bikes are available at the villa for those wishing to ride to Conil or the beaches.

Distances
The closest village is El Colorado a walk of about 10 minutes. Conil is a ten minute drive, Vejer is 15km, Chiclana 10km, Jerez 60km and Tarifa is about 70km. The Alcornocales National Park and the beaches of the southern Costa de la Luz are all within easy driving distance from the villa.

Further details
A list of shops, restaurants, ventas (cafe/bar/restaurant), supermarkets and places of interest will be provided at the villa. Bicycles and surfboards are available for rent from us.
