This luxurious villa is on the popular Roda Golf and Beach Resort in the Murcia region of Spain and is located just 10 minutes from Murcia's San Javier airport and the sandy beaches of the Mar Menor. It is also just five minutes from a shopping centre and the lively holiday resort town of Los Alcazares with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Roda is home to the first PGA golf academy in Spain and is an ideal resort to take golf classes in the sun. On site facilities include the Dave Thomas designed 18 hole golf course, PGA golf academy with state of the art teaching facilities, Pro-shop, driving range, putting green, clubhouse, wi-fi hot spots, international restaurant, snack bar, mini-market, communal gardens and swimming pools, tennis and paddle courts, football pitches, basketball courts, children's play areas and 24 hour security. A cot and highchair, laundry services, airport pick-ups and a selection of Welcome packs can be provided by our management company if requested.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible.Normal departure time is 10am. Earliest arrival time is usually after 2pm. However other arrival and departure times can be arranged depending on availability.

Notes on accommodation
Wifi access available in the villa.Welcome packs, airport transfers, cots, highchairs provided upon request. The property benefits from full air conditioning for those hot summer days and gas central heating for the cooler winter nights if required.The villa comes well-equipped for the perfect self-catering holidays and golf breaks throughout the year. The villa has marble floors throughout. The bathrooms are modern and are fully tiled with marble tiles and have high quality fittings for a luxurious feel.
Accessibility
This property features a downstairs bedroom and bathroom and a spacious living/dining area which leads directly onto a patio area in the garden overlooking the pool.The pool has both a ladder with a handrail and steps leading down into the pool to allow easy access into and out of the pool.
Outside
The villa boasts it's own private pool (25m2) and a landscaped garden overlooking the golf course. There is an outdoor dining area for six people and barbecue. There are also six sunloungers by the pool for those who want to soak up the sun. There are also two bicycles available.A 50 euro security deposit is required per bicycle.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of Los Alcazares are located just five minutes away by car. The private Beach Club at La Manga is opened in the high season. Facilities include a restaurant and bar, pool, changing rooms, lounge area with Wi-fi, private beach and a large amount of sun loungers. Towels are provided.
Golf
The villa is frontline on this Dave Thomas designed 18 hole course. Roda, home to the 1st PGA Academy in Spain, offers a variety of coaching programmes available to all ages, abilities with an experienced team of professionals. Whether you want to learn the basics, develop your current skills or experience the latest in motion technology, Roda is the ideal resort with more than 320 days of sunshine per year. In summer temperatures rarely fall below 30C & in winter the average maximum temperature is a very pleasant 18C. The Clubhouse has club storage facilities, dressing room suite with sauna, showers & relaxation area and an onsite pro-shop. Also located in the Clubhouse is the "Collodos de Roda" restaurant and bar with an extensive drinks menu.Other onsite facilities include driving range,putting green & wifi-hotspots. 20mins drive to the renowned La Manga Club and several other golf courses in the area.
Travel
Murcia, San Javier airport is located just 10 mins from the villa. Alicante airport is located just 45 mins away. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Murcia city is just 40 mins away. Cartagena is just 30 mins away. Alicante is 55 mins away.
Further details
There is a good selection of shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and banks in Los Alcazares which is just five minutes drive away.The historic cities of Murcia and Cartagena are also worth visiting or perhaps have a mud-bath in the Mar Menor. The World Health Organisation have rated this part of Spain one of the healthiest climates on the planet.For the kids,perhaps spend the day on the beach at Los Alcazares which is just 5 mins away or visit Terra Natura Zoo and Waterpark in Murcia. A trip to Roda's private beach club on La Manga is also worthwhile and a very relaxing way to spend the day. Why not try a round of golf at Roda or one of the many other golf courses in the area, including the renowned La Manga Club.There are several good shopping centres nearby including Dos Mares just 10 mins from the villa,Parque Mediterraneo in Cartagena and Neuvo Condomina in Murcia.
