Our cosy 2 bedroom apartment is situated on the first floor of a small complex of 48 apartments. It has a beautiful (slightly restricted) view of the Mijas coastline. The pool and gardens are well maintained. It is ideally situated for a family holiday but is also ideal for the holiday-maker who wants to visit the many attractions along this coastline. Golf courses are abundant. The nearest one being La Cala Golf, an approx. 10 minute drive. It is also close to a bus stop and there is a taxi rank a short distance away.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible dependent upon other bookings. Departure time of 10.00am on departure day is preferred but can be flexible, again dependent on other bookings.

Notes on accommodation
A cot can be provided if necessary. Ceiling fans are provided for summer use and heaters provided for the colder months.
Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the first floor and the apartment block is serviced by a lift. However, there are several steps up to the lift/ground floor and the apartment itself is not suitable for a wheelchair. The apartment complex is situated up a small hill.
Outside
Well maintained gardens, swimming pool with shower and toilets. Grass area around pool for sunbathing. Chairs for use by the pool are provided by owner and kept in the apartment.
Coast/Beach
5 minute walk to local, sandy beach with sunbed and parasol hire,beach restaurants and childrens play area. The beach has its own lifeguards and beach toilets are provided.
Golf
There are many local golf courses. Nearby is a Golf Pro Shop who will advise of all local golf courses and assist with bookings if required.
Travel
The nearest airport is Malaga airport approx. 30 minutes drive, with many car hire companies on site. Car hire is not essential but recommended. We can recommend a car hire company if necessary.
Gibraltar airport is approx. 1 hour drive.

Malaga - 30 min. drive
Marbella/Puerto Banus - 30 mins.
Fuengirola - 15 mins.
Mijas village - 20 mins.
Gibraltar - 1 hour
Further details
Torrenueva - 5 min. walk with supermarket, 5 restaurants.
La Cala - approx. 15 min. walk / 5 min. drive, with larger supermarket, many restaurants, shops, banks. Market held twice weekly.
Fuengirola has a waterpark and Tivoli Gardens.
Booking notes
Deposit of 25% is required at time of booking with the balance due 6 weeks prior to holiday booking. In addition we ask for a £100 deposit in respect of breakages which is fully refundable. Cancellations within 8 weeks of departure date non-refundable deposit. Cancellations prior to 8 weeks of departure subject to a £50 cancellation fee.

About the owner
Our children are grown up so most of the time it is just the two of us using the apartment although we have enjoyed taking friends to our second home on many occasions. We are looking forward to taking our grandchildren there.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We rented an apartment in Las Acacias in 2001 and fell in love with the area. It is ideally situated - close to the airport, close to the beach, friendly people, beautiful weather so we went back the following year and decided to look for a place of our own. We still love it all these years later and want to spend more and more time there.
