Notes on prices
Discounts are available for long winter rentals. A surcharge of £40 per week is applied to stays over the Christmas/New Year periods, unless these are incorporated into a long let. A charge of 25pounds per week is payable for a fifth person. Extra nights are calculated on a pro rata basis. On long rentals electricity used is payable locally on departure.

Changeover day
Changeover days are normally Saturdays or Mondays, although flexibility is possible. Vacation is normally by 11.00 on day of departure. On arrival day the property is usually available by 15.00. Flexibility may be possible by prior arrangement.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with a king size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, large fitted wardrobe and a ceiling fan.
Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds, bedside table, chest of drawers, a large fitted wardrobe and a ceiling fan. Single sized Put-u-Up bed is available.
Bathrooms: Bedroom 1 has a fully tiled en-suite shower room which includes a shower, toilet and wash basin.
The main bathroom is fully tiled with bath, shower attachment and glass shower screen, toilet and wash basin.
Kitchen: Well equipped with electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, juicer and a generous supply of equipment for both the preparation and serving of food.
Living Rooms: Open plan with 3 seater settee, 1 armchair, coffee table, television cabinet, dresser, dining table and chairs, flat screen TV, DVD player, hi-fi with radio and iPod socket and CD player, and a fire place for cool winter evenings.

linen/maid service:
The apartment is prepared for your arrival with bedlinen and a generous supply of towels. Linen and towel change is arranged on a weekly basis (except for long term winter rentals). No beach or pool towels are provided.

Notes on accommodation
Beach umbrellas and cool boxes are provided. A cot with linen can be provided at a reasonable weekly rental charge. A fifth person can be accommodated on a comfortable fold away bed.

Accessibility
The property is easily accessible with only a few steps and a parking area very close by.

Outside
Both the double bedroom and the lounge open onto a large south facing sunny terrace, bordered by a trough of colourful plants. We provide sun loungers, coffee tables, dining table, chairs, and a barbecue.
Shade can be found in the recessed area in front of the bedroom and the dining table is shaded by a large umbrella.
Gated steps lead down to a small garden area which has a wash room with washing machine.

Coast/Beach
Over 15kms of beaches with a choice of small coves or large open beaches. The largest beach of Burriana boasts a wide choice of water sports, beach bars and a promenade with a vast choice of restaurants.

Golf
Baviera golf course is approximately 20 minutes drive away.

Skiing
The ski resort of Granada, in the Sierra de Nevada mountain range is approximately a 1 hour drive away.

Travel
The nearest airport of Malaga is a 45 minute drive away. We can recommend car hire or provide a taxi service if required.

Distances
The beautiful white walled villages of Maro and Frigiliana are within easy access. The caves of Nerja are a 10 minute drive away. Gibraltar is also easily accessible for a day trip.

Further details
Nerja is still essentially a quaint, Spanish fishing village with cobbled streets, white washed houses, colourful shops and pretty courtyards. Plenty of quality restaurants to chose from, some with rooftop terraces and the majority with outside eating areas. A horse drawn carriage ride is available to those who wish to see Nerja the relaxed way.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance is payable 10 weeks before your arrival. Long winter rentals are available at special rates. Please contact owner for costings.

About the owner
After experiencing several years of enjoyable vacations, we decided to purchase a property in this area. We have now taken early retirement and spend a lot of our time in Spain, enjoying the carefree lifestyle and friendliness of the local people. In fact, for the majority of the time, we look after the apartment and are available should any problems arise.

Year purchased: 1999

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We purchased the property 10 years ago, when it was completely refurbished with the addition of the shower room. The urbanisation first attracted us because of the layout and the individuality of the properties.

Unique benefits of the property
The urbanisation has all the facilities we needed on our holiday, including a pool within lawned areas manned by a lifeguard at all times, a smaller children's pool, a supermarket, restaurants and 2 poolside bars. Other bars are located on terraces below the pool. We love the property because of the privacy, views and peacefulness of the area. It is also possible to enjoy the surrounding areas without the need of a car.
