Andalucian Farmhouse and Casitas with Large Pool and Child Friendly
Rural Retreat in the Heart of Olive Growing Country and Sympathetically Restored
Farmhouse (7/8), Casita (4/6), Studio (2/4),

Casa Caballos is the perfect setting for a rural Andalucian holiday. Sun yourself by our pool with its stunning views, enjoy the tranquillity of the olive groves or just tour around the area's white villages and local attractions. Casa Caballos is an old Spanish Finca that has been sympathetically renovated but has all the mod cons. The large Farmhouse and outbuildings have been restored to create two rental apartments attached to the Farmhouse. The Stables is a large two bedroom family casita. The Tack Room is a spacious studio casita. Both have been tastefully and comfortably furnished, with log burning stoves for the winter nights and private patios for the long summer evenings. They all share a huge 11m x 5m pool that has a safe area for toddlers. It even has a play area! Games room with table tennis. Waterfall side bar a walk away (summer only) and catering provided by local restaurant. This is the real Spain experience.

Review submitted by Harriet from Cornwall
"We had a fabulous time at Casa Caballos. The hosts, Nik and Jackie were very welcoming and helpful. fantastic facilities for children and the villa was enough distance from the pool so we didnt have to worry all the time that the children were too close to the pool. Really easy to dive to from the airport and the countryside and views from the villa were magnificent. Local towns were lovely and friendly and tapas galore! We hope to go back again"

"Casa Caballos was the best holiday we have had since the children. The amazing view from the poolside of the olive groves and mountains never tired, providing a wonderful location for a truely relaxing holiday - an unexpected bonus with two four year olds! On the odd occasion when we were asked "what are we doing next", Nick and Jackie's excellent knowledge of the area and local festivals ensured we were able to embark on another adventure.

About the owner
Nik, Jacqui, Rosie and George left the UK in 2003 to start their new life in Andalucia.
Having lived around the world and stayed in the best and the worst the world had to offer, we think we know what people want from a holiday.
We bought this old Spanish farm house, Casa Caballos and then later Villa San Cristobel because we love everything about this part of Spain. The food, the people, the architecture and just about everything here that makes you feel that you are alive!
We live here full time and are committed to our life here and providing a memorable holiday for you. With almost 10 years experience, we think we have cracked it!
Year purchased: 2003
Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Both Casa Caballos and Villa San Cristobel are located in Puerto Blanquillo or White Haven, a small hamlet nestled in the Sierra Martilla, at the heart of Granada's olive growing region. Just an hour's drive from the coast, airport and Granada. The nearest villages; Zagra and Ventorres de San Jose, both retain a peaceful, traditional Andalucian way of life that is quickly disappearing on the coast and in many of the well visited Pueblo Blancos or 'White Villages' elsewhere.
None of the Bars or Restaurants will appear in the Zagat or Michelin guides, however armed with a few Spanish words and a phrase book you will be welcomed by the friendly patrons and locals.
