Los Rios is a quite Spanish village with 2 bars, and Almedinilla is about 5 minutes drive away where you can find shops, bars and restaurants. Priego de Cordoba is about 10 minutes drive away. We also offer an optional range of spa treatments, with information of all local attractions and services. Whether you want to explore the Alhambra in Granada, try out some flamenco dancing, visit a Spanish fiesta, or ride in a hot air balloon we have all the information for you to make your trip enjoyable. Customers can enjoy the private terraces, swimming pool and plunge pool, Accommodation is separate from owner’s main living area and overlooks the garden, BBQ area, pools and has spectacular views. Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible.
Notes on accommodation
Small pets are accepted with prior information provided. Children are welcome.
Rooms will be cleaned every day and towels and linen will be changed as often as the guests require.
Accessibility
The guests rooms are at street level and the property can be entered by people with mobility problems. The large bedrooms and bathrooms are particularly suitable for wheelchair users. However, the garden cannot be accessed without assistance.
Outside
Our pool is 7x4m and has a constant depth of 1.8m. At the end of the pool, is a pool bar, for guests to sit and enjoy a drink from our honesty bar. Our garden also has a swing seat, hammock, a gazebo for shade, BBQ area, and a table and chairs in the shade for dining.
Coast/Beach
About an hour to Salobrena which is now accessible on the new motorway from Granada to the coast.
Golf
Antequera or Granada offers the nearest golf facility which is about 45 minutes drive away.
Skiing
Ski-ing in the Sierra Nevada is easily accessed from this property. Sol y Nieve is the only resort in the area, and there is a British ski school in the resort.
Special interest holidays
Learn the language courses, spa breaks, house-hunters, Roman attractions, local fiestas, Cordoba festival of the patios, visit the Alhambra, Mezquita and other Moorish palaces.
Travel
Nearest airport is Granada or Malaga. Car hire is essential in this area, or we can arrange private escorted travel for you.

Almedinilla 2km / 5 minutes. Priego de Cordoba 10km /10 minutes. Granada 30km / 45 minutes. Cordoba 90km / 1 hour.
Further details
Almedinilla is one of the whitewashed villages of the Subbetica National Park. You can find bars, restaurants, shops and banks there.

Wir haben 1 Nacht in der Casa Oasis verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Die absolute ruhige Lage in einer kleinen Siedlung mit netten Garten und kleinem Pool hat für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt gesorgt.
Besonders genossen haben wir den Charme der beiden Gastgeber, und das phantastische Abendessen, welches von Jan mit viel Liebe zubereitet wurde.
An Wein und Brandy wurde nicht gespart, und wir konnten einen unterhaltsamen Abend zusammen mit 2 den beiden anderen Gästen verbringen.

About the owner
Michael and Jan Templeton bought Casa Oasis in 2007 having been involved in business in the UK when they reached a decision to opt for a new way of life in Spain. Our Spanish guest house is our own oasis where we have been able to enjoy growing our own food, keeping chickens, swimming in our own pool and living in the sun. We have wonderful testimonials from our guests who come back time and again, for the great hospitality and personal service. Whatever your needs we are here to help you and ensure that you have a fabulous holiday here with us.

Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
Peace and quiet, real Spain, lovely Andalusian lifestyle, fresh food, just the noise of the birds in the morning. Our main local town of Priego de Cordoba is one of the most undiscovered but spectacular towns we have found in Spain. It is a far cry from the costas here, and if you want to be part of a Spanish community, then this is the place to be.
