Villa Caledonia is new, located within a purpose built quality private residential complex in the village of Otura. Located 7 minutes drive away from the beautiful and cosmopolitan city of Granada and the Alhambra Palace. This location has great access and public transport to most places of interest. There are a lot of amenities in the village itself, Tapas bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, sport centre, beautiful Santa Clara golf course and famous tennis courts complex Garros. The local outdoor market is held every Wednesday. The Costa Tropical beach resorts are within easy access, 30-35 min away. The main motorway is less than five minutes drive away from the villa. the nearby ski resort of Sierra Nevada is a mere 28 min away, Alpujarras, Lanjaron (with natural springs and thermal waters from Sierra Nevada). Lecrin Valley, lakes and reservoir are also within 15 minutes drive. The city of Granada and famous Alhambra Palace is only a short 7km drive away.

Accessibility
There is a large double bedroom (bathroom next to it) on the ground floor, suitable for people with difficulties walking up stairs. Travelling Cot and a new pushchair - buggy suitable for children up 4 years old (available on request).

Outside
At the front of the villa there is an open long patio/terrace with rose and young fruit tree gardens there is also a feature fountain, porch etc. At the rear of the villa (sun facing during most of the day), there is the BBQ area, outdoor furniture, folding cloth dryer and the ample private swimming pool with Roman head access into the water, safety ring, pool surface nets and pool maintenance nets. There is also a large raised covered terrace overlooking the pool areas with unrestricted and magnificent views of the breathtaking Sierra Nevada mountain range, Granada city and surrounding country side. Very quite and private location.

Coast/Beach
The magnificent Costa Tropical Beaches (Torrenueva, Motril, Almuñecar, Salobreña etc) is approx 25-30 minutes away by car from the Villa via a modern (just completed) motorway which is accessible just 5 minutes from the villa.

Golf
The magnificent Santa Clara golf course (72 par long) complex with its spectacular and upmarket club house, only 5 minutes from the villa, please check web link (English). The club house includes restaurants, bars, sun terraces etc are freely accessible and the other export facilities such as tennis, paddle, spa, swimming are accessible by arrangement.

Skiing
Europe's Southern most and fantastic skiing resort of " Sol y Nieve " in Sierra Nevada with over 110 km of Pistes available, is only 28 minutes from the Villa, Typically the Skiing season In Sierra Nevada. Starts the last week of November to ends of March.

Special interest holidays
The famous tennis courts complex Garros is only a short walk away. There is also horse riding near by, hill walking, fishing. The famous Alhambra 's main car park can be reached from the villa in about 20 minutes. The city of Granada is about 7km about 8 minutes by car to the city centre (Congress Palace).

Travel
The magnificent Costa Tropical Beaches (Torrenueva, Motril, Salobreña, etc) are approx 30 minutes away by car from the Villa. Malaga Airport is approx 124km / 65 minutes away. Almeria Airport 90 minutes. Murcia 2½ hour. There is good public transport (a couple of minutes from the villa) to the city, Alhambra, etc. Airport Transfers may be arranged on request.
