Coast/Beach
The horseshoe shaped beach of the Arenal in Javea on the Costa Blanca in Spain features a safe, clean sandy beach in beautiful surroundings. The beach is in a bay between the Cabo San Martin and the Cabo San Antonio. The Arenal beach in Javea is a perfect place for families. The sea is never rough and you can wade a long way until you get to the depth. During the summer months there are a lot of different beach activities available. Volleyball, climbing frames, pedalos and water rafts.
Golf
Golfing activities can be found within 2 minutes drive of the villa at Javea Golf Club situated between Benitachell and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, club bar and restaurant. La Sella Golf Club is 15 minutes drive inland near the village of Jesus Pobre. The course has 18 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles. This is a private members club open to the public. Facilities include: driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Both Javea and La Sella clubs have tennis and squash courts. Within a half hour drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course 18 holes, par 72 and 7,050 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool.
Travel
Alicante Airport is the nearest at 90km to the south of Javea, approximately 1 hours drive. Valncia to the north is 130km and 1 hour 15 mins drive. Both directions are very easy with motorway for the main part of the journey.

Javea and Moriara beaches are just 5 minutes drive away both are approx 5km.

Benitachell village is just 2 minutes away with supermarkets, banks, bars and restaurants. An indoor heated pool for all year round swimming. golf courses and bowls clubs are also 2 minutes away. Cycling, walking, water sports are all available.
Booking notes
Bedlinen and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own pool/beach towels. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required on booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to rental start date together with a refundable deposit against damage and excess cleaning of 300 euros. There is an extra charge for the use of the air-conditioning/heating. (50 euros per week). NB: Booking deposits are paid by bank transfer to Spain. Final balance to be paid by bank transfer to Spain, including any bank charges.

About the owner
My name is Sarah and I have lived here in Spain for 8 years. My husband and family fell in love with this area having holidayed here for several years. We've made this area our home. The beautiful scenery everywhere, and the greenness of the area, it truly is spectacular.
How could one not love it with lovely hot summers and mild winters. If you like walking, there are fabulous walks close by with breath taking views. Fabulous beaches and coves, eating al fresco is all year round here. The bars and restaurants are great and right next to the sea.
Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
The north Costa Blanca area is in my opinion the most scenic and beautiful of the coastline of Spain, with the sandy beaches just a five minute drive away and the dramatic backdrop of the mountains inland, it truly is a beautiful place to live and just perfect for holidays. The climate here is warm and clement all the year round. Summer is always hot. The bars and restaurants close by are upmarket. Javea being a very family orientated resort, is safe with no roads dividing the beach and the bars.
