Changeover day
Our main changeover day is Tuesday but we are flexible.

Coast/Beach
Javea sand beach is a 10 minute drive from the villa. Moraira and El Portet beaches are a 15 minute drive from the villa.
Golf
The property is directly opposite Javea Golf Course. Other nearby golf courses include: Club de Golf Ifach - 9 hole course 20 minute drive. Club de Golf La Sella Denia - 18 hole 20 minute drive. Please contact owner for website address should you require further details.
Travel
Alicante airport is a 55 minute drive to the villa. Valencia airport is a 1 hour and 10 minute drive to the villa. A car is recommended.
Distances
Javea town and the Arenal beach is a 10 minute drive. Moraira is a 15 minute drive. Both towns have lots to offer with shops, restaurants and market stalls. Both towns also have evening fun fairs.
Further details
There is a supermarket just a few minutes from the villa called Masymas. The nearest banks can be found in either Moraira or Javea. There is a market in the big car park in Moraira every Friday morning.
Benidorm, with Terra Mitica theme park and Terra Natura and Aqualandia water parks, Mundomar etc is 50 kilometres away or 30 minutes by car. Benidorm Palace is also popular. El Vergel safari park allows swimming with sealions.
Booking notes
We have an electronic booking form that is sent and returned by email.
Payment is made by direct transfer to our English or Spanish Bank Accounts. We request 50% of the total amount on booking and the balance 6 weeks before travelling.
We request a £300 bond which will be returned and paid into your bank account when the villa has been checked on departure.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
The house is situated virtually on the border of Javea and Moriora, both of these lovely Port Towns are no more than 10 minutes drive in either direction. We view Javea as having three segments, the old town is set on a hill with narrow streets and a lovely indoor market. The old port which is still used by local fishermen serves also as a Marina, this gives way to a gorgeous promenade with the sea on one side and restaurants on the other. About a mile further along the sea front you come to the Arenal Beach resort which is very popular for the family holiday, with an abundance of bars and cafes/restaurants. Mariora is a much smaller town with a beautiful beach, stylish shops and restaurants are situated on the sea front overlooking the Marina and the town centre.
Unique benefits of the property
We bought the house in 1994 and have maintained it to a high standard, it is set in a plot of 1000 sq mtrs and is totally private. It is safe for children to be allowed to roam once the front gates are closed. The pool is situated at the rear of the house, in the warm weather we spend our time in this area and enjoy eating alfresco. We have four grand children, all of whom are now in their early 20`s late teens and it has been a pleasure to share the enjoyment of casa Madelli with them. Every penny we raise from rental goes back into the maintenance and improvement of the Villa. We truly hope that visitors find it as enjoyable we still do.
