A new, beautifully decorated 2 bedroom 2 bathroom townhouse with full heating and air conditioning. Roof terrace with BBQ and stunning views of the coast and Gibraltar. Sunny garden with an outside eating area and a private sunbathing area (sun loungers provided). Sunny balcony off main bedroom. Shared but very quiet pool within feet from the front door. The pool is fully fenced with toilet facilities and is available to a small number of key holders only. Close to quaint La Cala village which still retains its Spanish charm with local bars, shops and restaurants nearby. The quiet beach with lovely Spanish restaurants is a 10 min walk, with Fuengirola and Marbella a short bus journey or drive away. Many golf courses in the immediate area, including the 3 La Cala courses, El Chaparral, Mijas Golf, and The Marbella Club. Taxis can be arranged in advance to collect you from the airport if you do not wish to hire a car - which is not essential with this location. 20 mins from Malaga airpor

Notes on accommodation
Cot and highchairs can be hired but please be aware that stairs have marble flooring and this can be slippery when wet for young children.

Outside
Sunny downstairs garden has Spanish style table and chairs and sun loungers. Pool has a large secluded sunbathing area and was refurbished in 2008. It has toilet facilities and is only available to a small number of key-holders. Roof terrace has a table and chairs for 6 people, roof awning and a built-in BBQ.

Coast/Beach
10 min walk to a quiet beach with many excellent restaurants and bars. There is the option to hire sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach from the local beach side restaurants.

Golf
Many golf courses in the immediate area, including the 3 La Cala courses, El Chaparral, Mijas Golf and The Marbella Club.

Travel
Malaga airport is approximately 20 mins by car. Car hire not essential if staying in the local area as there are many nearby local attractions in walking distance. If you wish to travel further afield car hire is an option but there are also many reasonable local taxi firms who speak English.

Distances
La Cala village is a 5 minute walk from the house. Fuengirola is a 10 minute drive / bus journey. Marbella is a 30 minute drive / bus journey. All buses can be caught from La Cala village centre, as can taxis.

Further details
La Cala village has a full range of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and banks. There are quiet local bars and restaurants within the immediate vicinity of the house.

Booking notes
50% deposit upon booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before to include a £200 fully refundable security deposit in-case of loss of keys or damage which will be returned once the keys have been received back. Keys will be posted by recorded delivery and returned the same way.

About the owner
I ma a well known and well liked Business woman in our local town where I own an award winning pub which has live music every night. I bought this house 5 years ago as a 2nd family home and have only started renting it out commercially in the last 2 years, It is a well loved home which we still visit on a regular basis and therefore is well maintained with lots of personal touches everywhere.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
I bought this house off-plan 5 years ago and have never regretted it since. It is a stunning house with a lovely homely feel to it and holds years of treasured memories! We visited the area a lot in the years before we bought it as we love the traditional Spanish's feel of La Cala, which it still retains to this day. It has had a few changes since we first started coming here but has still kept its small village charm. You can have as quiet a time here as you wish or you can visit the nightclubs and bars of marbella. There are lots of friendly local run pubs & restaurants in walking distance, in which we have made many friends that we keep to this day. Many of our neighbours live there all year round and we have frequent recurring bookings from people who have also made friends!

Unique benefits of the property
The property is close enough to the beach you can literally smell the sea, but far enough to be quiet & peaceful. La Cala has every shop, supermarket, bar & restaurant you want all walking distance from the house, but there are the larger towns of Fuengirola & Marbella close by. We also have a local Hipodromo which holds weekly night time horse-racing from 10pm - 1am which is great fun. Its the prefect holiday home as it can be as quiet as you want, or as busy & loud as you make it (water parks, local markets - you name it, it will be close by!). I have plenty of pictures & local information that can be emailed to you as well as some local information that is kept in the house, so please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
