Notes on accommodation
The villa is maintained to an exceptional high standard and assistance from a neighbour is close at hand should you need help or to hire extra items e.g. pushchairs etc.
Accessibility
The ground floor and main terrace is all on one level ideal for elderly and disabled.
Outside
Outside with terrace, terrace furniture, balcony, patio, garden, sunbeds, barbecue, parking, private parking, private pool. The private pool has lockable gates for child safety.
Coast/Beach
The villa is 400m from Playa Playazo which it overlooks, from where you can go for a stroll and discover a number of chiringuitos and sample the delights of Spanish cuisine and the wonderful, but yet inexpensive, local vino. Playa Playazo links directly to the beautiful Playa Torrecilla and Nerja town. This is a beautiful 20 minute stroll along the waters edge whilst soaking up the fantastic Costa del Sol sun.
Golf
Golf is abundant on the Costa Del Sol and within 15 minutes drive - one of the many golf courses the Costa del sol is famous for Baviera Golf.
Skiing
Nerja has a wonderful ideal all year round climate which really is the best in Europe. On average, Nerja can expect 200 days per year to be sunny and virtually cloudless with high average winter temperatures of 10.5 to 18.2 and yet within a 90 minute drive you can be skiing on the Sierra Nevada Ski slopes.
Travel
Close by are the famous Nerja Caves, one of Spains finest tourist attractions. Underground caverns with stalagmites, stalactites and the worlds widest column reaching a height of 32m. About one and a half hours drive away is the historic city of Granada with its beautiful and famous Alhambra Palace, well worth a visit. Just 5k away is the old white washed mountain village of Frigliana, a great place to walk amidst a national monument and have lunch in one of the many typical bars

Nerja has activities for all times of the year. The 7 beaches, range from small quiet coves to larger ones with family restaurants. These have provision for fun activities including pedalos, windsurfing, paragliding and scuba diving. There are tennis courts, petanqua courts, and an indoor swimming pool and sports centre, all open to the public. Nerja also boasts a theatre and cinema featuring entertainment in both English and Spanish languages.
About 20 minutes drive away is an Aqua Park open during summer months and several golf courses. Nerja and other surrounding villages have several fiestas during the year, most culminating in a colourful display of flamenco dancing in the street or one of the old village squares.
The following activities are also available locally: diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, hiking, mountaineering, paragliding, sailing, skiing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind surfing.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
The villa is on Punta Lara which is a very peaceful urbanisation, away from the hustle and bustle of Nerja but near enough to walk into town and it is also only a very short drive away from Nerja's many fabulous restaurants.
