This is a 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom apartment with hot/cold air-con and Sky television close to La Cala de Mijas, which is still a mostly unspoilt traditional fishing village with a blue flag beach. Located a 10 minute walk down a hill to the lovely beach at La Cala it is in a lovely quiet complex with the stunning views and it also has a paddle court and lovely swimming pool and gardens.

Notes on accommodation
There is a community swimming pool for residents use and a separate toddlers splash pool. The pool has loungers and fixed parasols.
Outside
The property has 3 terraces all with stunning views. There are sunbeds on both the upper and lower terraces, whilst the middle terrace has a large table and chairs, which can comfortably seat 8 people, and also has a retractable awning for shade.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is less than 10 minutes minutes walk from the appartment. There are several bars and cafes on the beach.
Golf
There are several golf courses within easy reach, including a 9 hole course and driving range which is overlooked by the property.
Travel
Malaga airport is 25 minutes away by car. A car is recommended although not essential. Transport to and from the airport can be arranged for a fee.
There is a taxi rank in La Cala, close to the beach, shops, bars and restraunts. For a few euros you can travel back to the appartment in comfort.
Distances
Marbella and Fuengirola are only 15 minutes away. A drive to Mijas Pueblo is only 25 minutes and Gibraltar is less than an hour away by car. There are local bus services to Marbella and Torremolinos.
Further details
Local activities include: an amusement park at Tivoli world, an aqua park near Fuengirola, a casino, horse racing at Hipodromo, scuba diving arranged in La Cala, many boat trips and water activities from both Benalmadena Marina and Cabpino. For a special day out, pamper yourself at the El Oceano Beach Spa hotel, which is open to non-residents. There is a local market every Saturday and Wednesday. La Cala has many bars restaurants, banks and 2 supermakets.

La Cala de Mijas is a quiet relatively unspoilt fishing village, with a fabulous clean beach. It has a variety of bars and restaurants, with local markets twice a week. It is also conveniently located between Marbella and Benalmadena for those that want nightlife.
