Luxury villa with swimming pool and many terraces with amazing views to the sea. Fabulous pool and sunbathing terrace with alfresco dining, sun loungers, sun shades, hammock and BBQ. Mature garden with fruit trees and flowers.
Situated in the hills overlooking Sitges but only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to the beach and town. Sitges is a chic, beautiful seaside resort just outside of Barcelona. It is at the northern end of the Costa Dorada, which stretches from Barcelona to Tortosa. The Costa Dorada, or 'Golden Coast' is famous for its long sandy beaches and Sitges has plenty of them! Sitges has plenty of historical sites, it was once a quiet fishing village that has grown into a cosmopolitan, popular holiday resort. For the active there are water sports all along the Costa Dorada, including Sitges, Barcelona and the surrounding towns. For families, a day out to Universal Studios Port Aventura, theme park and Costa Caribe, water park (located just outside Salou).

Changeover day
We are flexible with changeover days and access to the villa is 4pm and departure at 12pm (although depending on flights we can be flexible).

Bedrooms: 3rd floor- king size bedroom suite, dressing area and luxury bathroom.
2nd floor- 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, view to the pool, the other with 2 single beds, 1 double bed,panoramic views and Juliette balcony. 4th bedroom is en-suite private studio
Bathrooms: 3 bathrooms. Fully equipped bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.
En-suite to 3rd and 4th bedroom.
Kitchen: Large kitchen with every appliance you could need. Cooker, microwave, fridge, chest freezer, fruit blender, dishwasher, juicer, toaster, sandwich maker, coffee machine etc.
Utility Room: Washing machine and chest freezer.
Living Rooms: 3 floors. On 1st floor is a large living room/dining room with luxury furniture (eg leather settee) and a dining table that seats 10 people. Floor to ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the sea. English Sat TV and wi-fi internet access.
Other: There is also a chill out reading room. Grand piano! And TVs and sat tv in 2 of the bedrooms.

Notes on accommodation
There is central heating and a romantic log fire in the living room. All rooms have ceiling fans. It is suitable for children

Accessibility
There is no lift but a lot of steps to the villa so it is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Outside
There are 3 terraces. 1 massive sun terrace around the pool with sun loungers, 3 alfresco dining suites, BBQ, sunshades, inflatables for the pool, plants and fruit trees, a hammock and a basket ball net (balls provided!). The 2nd terrace is off the king size suite with 360 degree views of sea, pool and mountains and also has sun loungers and dining suite. Just outside of the studio apartment there is a small garden area with table and chairs.

Coast/Beach
There are a number of beautiful beaches, from the long sandy popular beaches of Playa De La Ribera and Platya De Sant Sebastia to the quieter and more rugged sandy beaches of Platja De Balmins and Platja De Aiguadolc. There is also a fabulous Marina at Aiguadolc - with lots of bars and restaurants. Its a 20 minutes walk or 4 minutes drive to Balmins and Aiguadolc beaches.

Golf
There is a golf course nestled in the gardens of the Dolce Hotel with sea views - it is about a 10 minute drive from the villa.

Travel
Airport: Barcelona, El Prat 28km.
Railway: Sitges 1.5km.
Ferry: Barcelona 40km. From Barcelona airport it is easy to get to Sitges by train (approximately 35 minutes) or by bus (25 minutes) - with the Mon bus costing 3 euros. The bus stops near the train station - and from there a bus will take you up to Villa TanGi - (7 minutes every half an hour). If you prefer to take a taxi from the airport, it should take around 25 minutes and we can organise for 50 euros. A car is recommended

Distances
Sitges is situated 36 kilometres to the South of Barcelona, only half an hour away. There are a variety of boutiques, bars, shops and restaurants to be found, and plenty of locations overlooking the sea. Barcelona can be reached by train from Sitges - 35 minutes. Water parks, Tarragona, Monsterrat are all worth a visit and are around 1 hours drive away. There are many beaches within walking distance. We provide an information pack with lots of useful details on places of interest.

Further details
Sitges is a chic, cosmopolitan town with lots of lovely bars and restaurants. There are many boutique shops and a range of supermarkets close by. There is an historical centre with cobbled streets, a wonderful old church perched on a hill overlooking the sea and lots of interesting local shops.
There is a lively nightlife. We provide lots of information in our welcome pack on places of interest.

Booking notes
We require a 20% deposit to secure the booking paid by bank transfer to our account. The balance of the payment can be paid by cash on arrival or bank transfer 12 weeks before the holiday.

Guest comments
We had a fantastic time at Villa TanGi. It was like a home from home, but with the advantage of constant sunshine and amazing views to the sea. We didn't have a car but the local buses were frequent and we enjoyed the walk into town on occasions. - The McDonnell Family, Glasgow
