20 minute drive to nearest golf.
Skiing
Sierra Nevada ski resort approx 1 hour drive.
Travel
1 hour drive from both Malaga and Granada airports. Hire car taxis and bus travel readily available.
Distances
20 minute coastal walk brings you to the historic market town of Almunecar with quaint shops found amongst the winding streets, regular Friday markets, Castle and Roman ruins to visit. Also a newly opened underground aquarium. Also plentiful supply of restaurants and beaches. The next coastal town, Nerja has the famous caves to visit. An hours drive away is Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace to visit. Also Alpaharra Mountain villages and Siera Nevada Ski resort close by.

Its the only place we have stayed in that has so much to offer. We didnt need anything extra eg in the kitchen, bedrooms and outside space. We thought the location was fab with beautiful views and a short walk down from the beach.We will be recommending your villa to family and friends and will definately be booking our next holiday abroad with you. About the owner
We bought our holiday home in Almunecar in 2002 from new. We watched it being built and fitted it out as our family home from home. Since then we have spent many a wonderful holiday here with our family who have grown up whilst spending their time in this wonderful location. We decided over the last year to rent out our home as we have a younger child and can only take advantage of Spain sunshine in the school holidays. We still spend as much of our time there as we can. The house is comfortable with everything you would need to feel at home.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We love Almunecar as it has retained its Spanish atmosphere and culture. Its wonderful to sit on the beach and sit amongst Spanish families relaxing all together its a very laid back atmosphere. With just a short walk down to the beach its a great location and within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. Local bars are friendly and still give out free tapas with drinks.
Unique benefits of the property
Our house has wonderful views to enjoy around the whole property. Sea views from all the terraces and wonderful mountain views from the terraces and bedrooms. Its a place to truly relax and unwind.
