The surrounding gardens are very well kept with a large safe communal pool which has a large sun-bathing area with loungers. The apartment has a large private terrace with its own planted garden plus chairs and loungers, there is also a washing machine housed in a cupboard on the terrace.
Golf
The nearest golf course is Baviera this is a fine 18 hole complex, 20 minutes drive away.
Travel
Malaga is the nearest airport, a 45 minute drive away. Car hire is not essential but an asset to explore the local sights. A taxi can be arranged to pick clients up at Malaga.
Distances
Nerja is 1.6km. Caves of Nerja less than 3kms. Granada and the Alhambra Palace is 2 hours drive.

About the owner
My husband and I have owned this property on Ladera del Mar for 7 years; we believe it to be the most beautiful and peaceful urban community in Nerja (and in this part of Andalucia).
We love the area so much that we have purchased a second property on 'Ladera' that we use as our 'second home' away from the UK. We spend our time shared between Spain and the UK. We are very familiar with the area and are happy to pass on our experiences of enjoyable visits to Nerja.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We purchased our apartment on Ladera del Mar after considering many alternatives; both West of Malaga and more locally; we decided there was no where better to spend a relaxing holiday.
Nerja is an excellent choice because it has plenty to do but has not been spoilt by over development, it still remains a small Spanish town.
To confirm our attraction to Nerja and Ladera, we have just purchased a larger house just 100 metres away and are still very regular visitors to this beautiful place.
Unique benefits of the property
Nerja is within convenient connection to Malaga airport and yet is far away from the more commercialised resorts to the West, for example Marbella.
It is within sight of the 'Sierras' to the north, where, for the sake of a few minutes driving you can explore truly authentic Andalusian mountain villages; a little further is Granada and Alhambra Palace with its Moorish history.
Nerja still maintains much of its original Spanish heritage and remains a 'working' town; there are so many shops and restaurants you will never get tired of exploring its tiny back streets.
If you are younger and want more nightlife, get a taxi to Plaza Tutti Frutti and you can dance the night away; Nerja has something for all ages.
