The delightful apartment has one large twin bedroom, lounge with dining area and air-conditioning, separate kitchen and modern bathroom. In a superb location it is situated at the entrance of the village near to the old city gate (Puerta de la Ciudad) making a wide choice of restaurants, bars and shops accessible within a couple of minutes walk. The village is renowned for its idyllic Spanish charm, spectacular views and walks. You will find everything you need in the village to ensure you have a great holiday without having to drive. However, if you do have a hire car the Vista Natalia complex has its own car park. The apartment is one of sixteen in a small complex and boasts two private balconies which are not overlooked, the views from here are fantastic, look one way and admire the village and the old architecture, the 'Art Deco' villas opposite, the mountains and Morales Cave, look the other way and you have unrestricted panoramic views of the sea.

Notes on accommodation

Beach chairs and parasol. Clothes maiden. The apartment has all the home from home comforts you would want, to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Both balconies are furnished and not overlooked. Strictly no smoking inside the apartment. You are only a three minute walk to the centre of the vibrant village.
Accessibility
To reach the apartment entrance there is a wide cobbled stairway consisting of around 40 steps. However, it is possible to drive around to the top of the complex to bring you onto the same level as the apartment so that you can drop off luggage and shopping, you may prefer to walk this way rather than the cobbled stairway. The apartment is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
Outside
The complex is set in it's own tropical gardens complete with banana, fig and palm trees and has a beautiful infinity pool with a separate children’s pool and there is even an outside Jacuzzi! The communal terraced area has a few sun loungers, tables and chairs, allowing you to enjoy the views whilst basking in the sun. The swimming pool is seasonal and is maintained and open from May through until September, outside of this period the pool and pool terrace area are closed to guests.
Coast/Beach
The 7kms of sandy beaches some of which are Blue Flag registered are only a 2 minute drive, a 15 min walk or a 5 min bus ride from the village. These range from bustling beaches to secluded coves.
There are numerous bars, restaurants and shops along the sea front to suit all tastes and there is also a beautiful traffic free promenade.
Mojacar is one of the few remaining resorts where you can still find Chiringuito's scattered along the beach.

Golf
The local area boasts five superb courses within 15 mins drive of the apartment, including the famous Desert Springs.
Skiing
The Winter snow capped Sierra Navada Mountains are within a leisurely 2hr drive of Mojacar.
Travel
There are three airports which service Mojacar, Almeria, the closest is presently being up-graded to International status and is approximately 90kms or 45 min drive. San Javier Airport, Murcia is about an hour and a half drive and Alicante is approximately a 2hr drive. Although not essential car hire would be recommended, there is a shuttle bus in operation from Almeria which drops off on the Mojacar beach road.
Airport pick ups and drop offs can be arranged if required from Almeria.

Vera - Old town complete with town square, gardens, beaches, bullring and water park - 10 min drive.
Villaricos - Charming fishing village and marina, - 15 min drive.
Sorbas, home to one of the largest underground cave networks in Europe, 15 min drive.
Tabernas, the only desert in Europe and home to Mini and Texas Hollywood, setting of many famous Hollywood Spagetti Westerns, 30 min drive.
Granada, Home of the Alhambra Palace, 2 hrs drive.

Mojacar Pueblo is an enchanting hilltop village, with sparkling white houses which dazzle in the Spanish sun, stroll through the cool courtyards and the maze of narrow winding cobbled streets, browse the many shops and bars which have a true moorish tone. Mojacar is a beautiful and romantic corner of Spain with its half-Arab half-Andulusian appearance it will both fascinate and captivate you.
Within the village there are numerous restaurants and bars many with roof top terraces affording spectacular views, supermarkets, banks, post office, tourist office, pharmacy, police station, and many shops selling local art, crafts and souvenirs. In the centre of the village stands the church of Santa Maria (1560) originally a fortress.
The local market is on a Wednesday morning and is situated on the main village Plaza and adjacent streets. There is a Flea market every Sunday morning situated at the Artisan centre at the bottom of the village.
There are also many designer shops and two large supermarkets situated in the commercial centre located on the seafront.
The village also has one of the oldest public fountains in Andalucia and many locals still collect their water here.
Mojacar has some of the most fantastic walking and trekking routes in the area and boasts many National Parks with miles of unspoilt scenery, for the more energetic there is horse and camel trekking available nearby as well as a go-carting circuit.
Often called the corner of enchantment the coming of night in Mojacar is a special experience. Watching the stunning sunset over the mountains, delicately tinting the town in shades of pink. Mojacar captures our souls, with its mystical streets; we are lured into discovering hidden treasures at every turn.
The moon, our host, hovers over romantic dinners and relaxed conversations in many of the roof top terraces of the fine restaurants, which offer a rich variety of regional and international dishes, catering to families and couples alike.
Booking notes
20% to be paid at time of booking, the remainder to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival date. We regret that due to your reservation rendering the apartment unavailable for rental, all deposits are non-refundable. We highly recommend you take out holiday insurance to cover any necessary cancellations from the point of booking. We also ask for a £50 breakage deposit to be paid before arriving. This is fully refundable after cleaning.
