Las Tres Ruinas is situated at the foot of Mojacar Pueblo and has beautiful 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The tastefully renovated 150 year old Cortijo has all the character of an old property but with all modern conveniences. Accommodation consists of 3 double bedrooms in the main house. The 3000 sq. metres of garden are a relaxing place to have a swim and sunbathe or read a book in one of the many quiet areas available.

Outside
Las Tres Ruinas is set amongst private walled gardens - parking is available for 4 cars with space for many more. The pool is a private 10m x 6m with two entry points and has a feature rock fountain. Toilet and shower facilities are available in the pool area. There are several areas 'set up' for 'alfresco' dining and a charcoal BBQ is available.
Coast/Beach
Mojacar Beach is a 5 minute drive away, Garrucha beach 10 minutes away, and the very extensive Vera Playa beach is 15 minutes away - there is a water park situated at Vera Playa Beach.
Golf
A selection of Golf Courses are situated within easy reach of the villa Cortijo Grande Golf Course is 10 minutes away, Desert Springs 5* Golf Resort 25 minutes, Valle de Este Golf Resort 20 minutes and Marina de la Torre Golf Course (on Mojacar Playa) 10 minutes away and the recently opened Macenas Golf Course 15 minutes.

Turre village is 2 kms from the villa, with the spectacular 'white' village of Mojacar 1 km away. The towns of Garrucha and Vera are within 20 minutes drive.

A 20% deposit is required on booking - full payment is due 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of £350 is also required before arrival.

About the owner
We have always loved the Spanish lifestyle, it seems so much more relaxed than the hustle and bustle of the UK. We fell in love with Mojacar about 8 years ago while visiting with friends. Before that we had an apartment in Puerto Banus on the Costa del Sol for over 18 years, it was great fun but we had both longed for the real Spain, we had out grown the glitz and glamour and looked for a simpler lifestyle. Mojacar is our dream come true, a steep white Moorish village full of history and romance. It is famous for its fiestas, fantastic tapas bars and friendly people. In the UK Ann & I worked together in the fashion industry and owned 3 ladies fashion shops. Our 37 years experience in business has taught us a lot, this has helped us no end in our new venture.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Our beautiful old Cortijo is in a lovely quite area of Mojacar Pueblo (old Town) but just 5 minutes from the seafront and shops. We had been looking for a property for sometime after having visited friends for several years previously. Our friends found Las Tres Ruinas for us and we flew straight from England and instantly fell in love with the property. For the next 3 years we completely updated the property to it's current level of high quality. In October 2007 we moved to Mojacar permanently with the intention of retiring and taking it easy after having been in business in the UK. This did not come to fruition as we both found that you can only play so much golf and do gardening so we decided to start up a new business doing special events at the house and renting.
Unique benefits of the property
In restoring Las Tres Ruinas we have tried to create an outside area where on the one hand you can relax, either by the pool or in one of the quite areas we have created. The bar area offers the opportunity to have a quite drink or party the night away.
