Notes on prices
Prices are per person per night and include an extensive buffet breakfast. There is an additional one-off laundry charge per person per stay of €7.50 for stays of less than 3 nights. Optional collection from or taking to Alicante Airport is 80 euros and to or from Valencia airport is 90 euros.
Changeover day
We have no specific change-over day, but the minimum stay is 3 nights and the maximum one month.
Notes on accommodation
We pride ourselves on our peaceful location. We have a friendly, welcoming attitude and welcome married couples, gay couples and single people. But because of our promise of peace we cannot, unfortunately, accept children, however much we love them.
Accessibility
All our rooms are on the ground floor with no steps, and the pool and terrace are also accesible on the same level. However, bathroom doors may not be wide enough to admit a wheelchair.
Outside
Private pool 10 x 5 meters with large patio surround. Sunbeds and umbrellas as well as a shaded area. Lovely shady courtyard and breakfast patio. Large parking area in front of the house.
Coast/Beach
Javea's main beach is golden sand and set in a safe bay with a boulevard of shops, nightclubs and restaurants. There are also other beaches such as in the Port, which is generally more quiet, or a little further, such as a nudist beach, a lovely pebble beach, and beautiful coves.
Golf
Private golfcourse (La Sella) 5 mins drive, and Javea golf course 15 mins drive away. Both accept guest players.
Travel
Alicante is our nearest airport (70 mins drive) although Valencia is only slightly further. We do offer an airport collection and/or return service for a fee. In order to enjoy all that this wonderful area has to offer we do recommend carhire, although this is not vital, as taxis to the town and beach are easy to get.
Distances
Javea's charming old town and Port area are a 10 minute drive away, so you can enjoy the fiestas and leave the noise behind at night. The nearest supermarket is 5 mins walk away, and 2 mins walk away is an English bar and restaurant. Benidorm, Alicante and Valencia are all worth seeing and the coastal railway: "The Lemon Express" can be taken 10 mins drive from here. There is great walking on our doorstep. The hundreds of restaurants and bars in Javea are recommended.
Further details
For the active there is swimming, a tennis club in Javea, walking on our doorstep, golf and water sports nearby, to name but a few, and for a more leisurely break there are plenty of lovely villages and castles to view as well as lazing on the beaches or by the pool. We are very central for lovely sightseeing trips in the area.
Booking notes
We recommend that you check availability first and we will hold your room for a few days while you book a flight. To ensure your booking a £50 deposit per person is then requested and the remainder is due one month before arrival. Payments are made in UK Sterling as a transfer from your UK bank to our UK bank. Conversion rates used are those applicable on the day that request for payment is made.

Jane: What a wonderful house - with its own mountain. I was rather apprehensive holidaying alone, but those feelings were quickly dispelled Greet and Julia by your warm welcome. The location is ideal to explore areas along the coast and inland. I will return!
Clare: I had a lovely stay at "El Fornet". It was incredibly relaxing and Greet & Julia were fantastic hosts. I was travelling alone, and they made me feel very welcome. The house and gardens are beautiful with great views of the mountains whilst sunbathing by the pool!
