Casa Katrina is a beautiful, extremely well-built and equipped 3 bedroom villa set in the tranquil and unspoiled mountains of Almachar. The spacious accommodation is open-plan and ideal for large families or perhaps just a couple who wish to laze around and just take in the beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. We have recently added air-conditioning to the main living area for your extra comfort! The house was built in 2006 and comprises one floor affording quick and easy access to all areas. It has a large private pool (8m x 4m) and lots of patio space – perfect for sunbathing and outdoor dining. There are 2 double and one twin bedrooms, a large, modern, well-equipped kitchen and living room, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite) and a utility/laundry room. The villa provides comfortable bedroom accommodation for a maximum of 6 people. A car is essential as the villa is is situated on a non-tarmac track off the main road. Our friendly English family look after the house. Airport pickups available.

Beach is approx 25 mins drive (Torre del Mar). Very safe and sandy beach with lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

The location is ideal for walkers, artists or photographers. It abounds with wildlife and beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada mountains including Mount Maroma.
How to get there
Malaga airport is approx 40 mins drive. Car hire is essential as the villa is quite remote and situated 2km along an untarmac'd track.
Main town of Almachar is 15 mins drive from villa.
About the Owner
I live in Colchester with my wife Anne. My wife and I both work, but spend most of our holidays in Spain, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country and its culture.
We love Almachar because of the wonderful weather and fantastic views and lifestyle. There are some beautiful beaches just 25 minutes drive. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Malaga airport approx 40 minutes drive away. The villa is in such a peaceful location and affords privacy and relaxation. When you have had enough sun and swimming, there is a modern air-conditioned shopping centre just 20 minutes away with a wide variety of shops.

Why this location?
We purchased the villa as it suited our needs totally. There are wonderful views of the mountains everywhere and when you have had enough of sunbathing and swimming, there is an abundance of towns and villages (Nerja, Marbella, Mijas etc) to visit within a relatively short driving distance
