Coast/Beach
Puerto Banus is only a few kilometres west of Marbella, and being under the Municipality of Marbella shares many characteristics of the Costa del Sol's most well known resort. Famous for it's picturesque marina filled with multi-million dollar yachts, Puerto Banus also boasts a beach that stretches for one kilometre - the golden sands are a major attraction to this town.
Golf
The Los Arqueros golf course is situated less than an hour from the international airports of Málaga and Gibraltar, and only 10 minutes from Marbella. Los Arqueros is a good course for players of all kinds - a reasonable challenge for the average golfer and a tough test for professionals. It is set among the mountains of the Sierra de Ronda, and has an original layout in beautiful surroundings. Its prime location on the Costa del Sol makes this an ideal destination for a stress-free golfing holiday.

The nearest airports are in Malaga and Gibraltar. Malaga airport is 70km distant. Car hire is recommended.

I am a financial services consultant and have been for more than 25 years.
I live in Bournemouth and enjoy using the apartment in Spain maybe four or five times every year (trying not to clash with Cricket fixtures).
I purchased the apartment in 2001 and haven't focused on renting it out other than friends and family until last year.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I needed a bolt hole to get me away from work every now and again.
Since I bought it the development has grown and matured into one of the best kept on the Costa Del Sol.
It's far enough out of town to be secluded but close enough to not worry about a high taxi fare to get to the life of Puerto Banus.
On a Golf course, fantastic views, large communal pool (not some little kidney shaped plunge pool).
Unique benefits of the property
Great views for outside dining / entertaining.
Far enough out of town to be quiet during the day and close enough to the towns when you fancy a bit of life.
Large communal pool on site (less than a minute walk).
