Notes on accommodation
There is full air-conditioning throughout the property plus full gas central heating. The services of a local management company will be near to hand if you require assistance, they can also meet and greet at the airport if required. A small welcome pack can also be ordered in advance. Please note that smoking is only permitted on the terraces.

Accessibility
There is a sofa bed in the downstairs lounge and a downstairs bathroom with wc and shower for those guests with mobility problems.

Outside
The apartment has electric shutters, double patio doors leading to a terrace with patio table, parasol and 4 chairs overlooking lovely pool. The terrace benefits from external lighting and a barbecue. The resort has its own exclusive beach club located on La Manga 'strip'. Facilities include pool, sun loungers, towels, changing rooms with showers, bar, restaurant and access to water sports. Transportation can be provided by Roda if required.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach at the Mar Menor is 5 minutes by car. The Mar Menor is a salt water lagoon and is very shallow and very hot. It is particularly child friendly. The blue flag beach is long and sandy. There are many water sports available including sailing, fishing, water skiing and scuba diving.

Golf
20% reduction on the green fees available for guests playing Roda's superb 18 hole course designed by Dave Thomas. The course is managed by the De Vere Group, who also own The Belfry and it is currently home to the only PGA golf academy on mainland Europe. It has a superb club house with bar and restaurants. There are many other excellent golf courses within easy driving distance including the 4 courses at La Manga (20 minutes by car).

Travel
Murcia, San Javier airport (MJV) is literally a 5 minute drive. Alicante airport is a 40 minute drive, as is Benidorm. The Roman town of Cartagena is 20 minutes by car. Car hire is certainly recommended.

Distances
The typically Spanish town of Los Alcazares is 2 minutes by car and this has many bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, banks etc. Murcia city is 40 minutes by car.

Further details
As well as the excellent 18 hole golf course Roda now has tennis and paddle tennis courts, 5 a-side football pitches and basketball courts.

Booking notes
20% of rental charge plus a £100 security deposit payable on booking. The security deposit is refundable less the cost of any breakages, after the property has been checked following departure. Last minute bookings with possible discounts may be available.

A lovely house built to a high specification. The weather was superb - we had a great time (Sheena & Tony).
We had a very relaxing holiday and had a swimming pool each to ourselves. Will definitely be going back (Mick).

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We live 20 minutes from East Midlands airport, and Murcia airport is literally 5 minutes from our townhouse. We can leave work on a Friday and be swimming in 1 of our pools a few hours later, and watch the sun set with a bottle of wine on the terrace. The golf course is first class, and there are many others in the region. Restaurants and bars are plentiful, a short car journey away.
