It is ideally situated for either families or couples being just minutes walk from several excellent restaurants, a variety of bars, cafes and two large supermarkets.

Accessibility
The building is situated in a particularly flat area suitable for the elderly or disabled. The apartment is on the first floor and can be directly accessed from either the underground carpark or ground floor by lift.
Outside
There is a full width, large South facing balcony with access from both the Lounge and the Master Bedroom, furnished with a large table and chairs and 2 sunloungers overlooking the large pool, tennis court, children's play area and well tended gardens.
Coast/Beach
5 min walk to a lovely beach with an elegant promenade which has lots of little bars and restaurants.
Golf
The major golfing areas of Villamartin, La Finca and Real Campomar are around 90 minutes drive South and El Saler (ranked amongst the best in the world) is just over an hour's drive North. In addition, there is a golf driving range just across the road!
Travel
The nearest airport is Alicante, approx 45 mins South. There is ample car hire available, from around £8.50 a day. In addition, there are many taxis at around 70 euros each way and a public bus service into nearby Benidorm (from where you can catch a taxi into Albir) for 7 euros. Alternatively, I can arrange for a personal pick up by an English speaking Dutchman (very nice man) for 55 Euros each way.
Distances
50 km North of Alicante. The traditional Spanish town of Altea, with its marina and delightful square and church is only 3 km away and can be reached by walking along the promenade from Albir. The sandy beaches and hedonistic pleasures of Benidorm are an 8km bus or taxi ride away.
Further details
The apartment is well situated just minutes walk from several excellent restaurants, a variety of bars, cafes, pharmacies, banks and 2 large supermarkets.
There are many things to do in the vacinity - visit the historic town of Guadalest, visit Altea, Aqualandia - a huge water amusement park, Mundomar - a marine and exotic animal park and the Terra Mitica theme park. More cerebral excursions include the Algar Falls, the Rock of Ifach and the Caves of Canelobre.
Jet skiing and water sports are available on the local beach and there are markets held every day in the local towns.

Booking notes
A deposit of £100 against breakages is payable on booking, with the full rental paid one month before arrival. The deposit will be returned directly after the apartment has been cleaned and checked following your departure.
