Located in a peaceful residential setting in the hills above the pretty Costa Brava coastal village of Tamariu with its crescent-shaped sandy beach, row of beachfront restaurants and backdrop of pine-covered hills. This large detached villa has recently been completely refurbished. On the lower floor there are four bedrooms (two with air-conditioning, the other two with large ceiling fans) three modern bathrooms, a dressing room and a utility room. Three of the bedrooms have direct access to the pool area and gardens, which are maintained by external contractors. A round stone staircase leads to the upper floor with a spacious sitting room with doors onto a terrace with spectacular sea views and access to a further second-storey terrace, dining room and large open-plan fully equipped kitchen with informal eating area overlooking the pool and gardens. The villa is comfortably furnished with a mixture of contemporary and local fittings and has central heating for year-round occupation.

Coast/Beach
Maximum 15 minute walk to Tamariu beach and village (about 1km distant). 3 minutes by car to parking in village. Crescent-shaped sandy bay with safe bathing/swimming, boat hire, diving trips, water sports etc. Restaurants selling locally - caught fish and seafood. A few bars but no other nightlife.
Travel
Girona airport 50 minutes by car (55km), Barcelona airport 90 minutes (approx 120km). Use of car/car hire strongly recommended.
Distances
Begur, ancient hill town with good shopping and restaurants (5km). Pals, medieval walled town (20km). World famous Parador Aigua Blava 5 minutes by car. Palafrugell, attractive market town with all facilities (10 minutes by car). Small secluded beach at Aigua Xelida 1 minute by car. Other coastal resorts (Llafranc, Calella, Sa Tuna) within 10-20 minute drive. Barcelona and French border 90 minute drive.

One cash machine in village. Two small supermarkets selling all basic provisions.
