Changeover day
Saturday - Saturday. Occupation time is from 2pm. Please vacate house by 10 am on day of departure. If you have a later flight we will store your luggage and look after you too!

Casa Don Juan is on one level making it ideal for children and the elderly. It enjoys beautiful sea views and is set in tranquil gardens for a good night's sleep. We offer welcome food packs & special requests eg. birthday cakes, champagne. British owners are on site and speak fluent Spanish. Maps, housebook & restaurant/ sightseeing book in each house. Total friendly service, airport collection/return. Local supermarket will deliver.

Outside
Set in beautiful Andalusian gardens which are carefully tended by our gardener, Roberto, who also keeps the communal pool maintained to a high standard. There is a barbecue, recliners or sunbeds, patio furniture. Casa Don Juan has a large front terrace with sun canopy, table & chairs and is adjacent to pool. The house is in a small residential areas and not in holiday complexes. Good night's sleep!
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach 5 mins. drive or less has tarmac car park and two beach bar/ restaurants - excellent paella at Kalifato bar. Safe, sandy beach slopes gently into sea, ideal for children. Sunbeds with parasol & table. Pedalo & canoe hire. One bar has waiter service to the sunbed! Other beaches are less than 10 minutes drive and the town beaches have extensive shooping. Cabopino beach is approx. 30 mins. by car with Marbella only 35 mins.
Golf
Too many to list - La Cala, Mijas golf, Lauro golf, Torrequebrada, David Leadbetter golf academy & par 3 course, Parador de golf de Malaga. Hire of clubs, tee times arranged via local specialists. Prices to suit all budgets.
Skiing
Benalmadena is approx. 2 hours drive to Sierra Nevada which has skiing from November to May. All equipment can be hired on site and there is snowboarding & toboganning too. Coach trips are also available.
Travel
Malaga airport 12.5 miles and we offer airport collection/ return. For your arrival we phone the airport one hour prior to your scheduled arrival to confirm flight so you don't have to worry if the plane is early or late - we'll be there.
Distances
Benalmadena village 2 miles, Mijas 8 miles, Malaga 20 miles, Fuengirola 4 miles, Marbella 20 miles and Gibraltar 60 miles.El Chorro national park with its freshwater lakes is about 1 hour by car. The Alhambra palace at Granada is 2 hours by car.There are many trips available locally including North Africa, Seville, Granada & Ronda. The local bus & train services are excellent.
Further details
Local supermarket, which has a good range of British foods and lovely home-baked English bread, will deliver and has a small bar opposite. There is a shopping centre at the entrance to the urbanisation and this has a Carrefour supermarket, a bank, newsagents/ booksellers, dry cleaners, tapas bar, Spanish bar restaurant, internet café and excellent Indian restaurant.In Benalmadena Pueblo there are many excellent restaurants and tapas bars. Less than 5 mins. drive is El Higueron, a world class restaurant with stunning sea views,elegantly laid tables, beautiful decor, excellent service and superb food. Open air markets at Fuengirola, Arroyo de la Miel and Puerto Banus make a special morning out. The Corte Ingles department stores at Malaga & Marbella are unmissable for their January sales.
