Lively Benidorm is 30 minute drive away.

Changeover day
Saturday changeover, but can be flexible subject to availability. The apartment is available on arrival from 3pm and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Notes on accommodation
This lovely apartment is further enhanced by full air conditioning and heating. Strictly non smoking indoors but allowed outside on private patio. Plenty of off road parking. Has wheelchair access and is ideal for children of all ages.
Accessibility
Has wheelchair access and no steps, so is more than ideal for wheelchair users, the elderly or people with mobility problems.
Outside
Covered patio, furnished with dining table and 6 chairs, ideal for dining alfresco. Leads to private garden with grassed area and lounging chairs, which leads through a private gate to the tranquil pool area.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful, blue flag Arenal beach is only a 5 min walk away. The bay has golden sand and gently slopes into the crystal clear water, safe for children. There are also sunbeds, parasols, showers and climbing/play frames. For the more energetic there is windsurfing, sailing, boat hire/trips, pedalos, scuba diving, water skiing, cycling, snorkeling, tennis and jet ski. A short drive away, there are beaches at La Barraca (stoney), Granadella (stoney), The Port (stoney), and Ambola (naturist).
Golf
There are numerous golf courses on the Costa Blanca. Close to the villa is the 9 hole course at Javea Golf Club (5 mins drive), the internationally renowned 18 hole golf course and spa at La Sella (10 mins drive), 9 hole golf course at Moraira (25 mins drive),the famous 18 hole Seve Ballesteros designed course at Oliva (35 mins drive), further courses are at Altea, Alicante and Valencia.

Travel
Javea is between Alicante and Valencia airports. Approx 1hr - 1hr 15 mins drive. A hire car is recommended, but not essential. Airport transfers can be arranged.
Distances
Within Javea the main Arenal beach is 5 min walk, "The Port" area is 4 mins drive and the "old town" is 5 mins drive.
Further details
Javea is a wonderful place to explore. There are 3 distinct areas. The "Arenal", the wide sandy bay, flanked by numerous restaurants, bars and shops. In the evening, the promenade comes alive and is lined the various stalls selling hand made crafts. (ideal for those presents to take home). The "Port", where the fishermen still dock, to sell at the fish market. There is a more Spanish feel to the front here, again with many bars, restaurants and shops. The historic "Old Town", full of culture, narrow cobbled street, local "tapas" and "paella".
Excursions nearby (all appx 30 mins drive) include: Mundomar Marine Park, Aqualandia Water Park,Terra Natura Wildlife Park, Terra Mitica Theme Park, Safari Park, Caves, Waterfalls (the Fonts d'Agar).
The Jalon and Montgo countryside is breathtaking.
At Valencia there is a great Science Museum and Oceanographic center (marine). Benidorm has the beaches, shops, restaurants, bars and the "kiss me quick" atmosphere and is a wonderful experience if you have not been there.
Denia beach and harbour (20/30 mins drive) can get you to Ibiza and Majorca by ferry.
Booking notes
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required on booking and the full balance is payable 10 weeks prior to your departure (non-refundable). A security/damages deposit of 200 pounds is payable with the balance, which is returned on receipt of the apartment keys and an inventory check. Hi we are Mike and Gill Beardsley, this is our own private property we have owned for 5 years and had many enjoyable holidays here. Javea is a beautiful part of Costa Blanca with lots and lots of sunshine for most of the year.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We love Javea it so relaxing with gorgeous weather.
Alicante and Valencia are only 1 hour 20 mins away and the flight is approx 2 hours 20 mins from UK making it very easy to travel to. Once at the apartment all bars/restaurants are within easy walking distance so there is no need for expensive hire cars, although there are plenty of places to hire a car if required. This is a ideal resort for family and relaxing romantic holidays.
Unique benefits of the property
Convinient accsess to all bars/restaurants and gorgeous Arenal beach which is made of fine golden brown sand, not shingle its a beautiful beach for lazing in the sun.
Our apartment has its own private garden for our residents only. Also right outside our gate is a large communal pool.
