Changeover day
Any changeover day is available. If your holiday is back to back with another then the apartment will be available from 4pm and the apartment vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure. We try to be as flexible as possible so please ask.

Accessibility
Our apartment is on the ground floor with lift access from the underground parking area.
Outside
Direct access from our terrace to the beautiful communal gardens and swimming pools which include a separate children's pool. Tennis courts on resort.
Coast/Beach
Head to Puerto de la Duquesa, a 5 minute drive away and you will find two of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the Costa del Sol stretching away from either side of the marina. They are clean and safe for children with access to children's play areas and beach bars/restaurants. There are promenades along both beaches.
Golf
If golf is your thing then how can you resist the 'Costa del Golf' with a choice of approximately 50 courses, many of which having an international reputation. We are situated next to La Duquesa Golf an 18 hole championship course set in a spectacular landscape. As part of the Duquesa Golf and Country Club other facilities include tennis courts, swimming pool, restaurant and coffee shop, steam baths, jacuzzi and sauna.

In addition to a relaxing summer holiday our apartment is ideally located for walking holidays, cycling holidays and winter sun breaks.
Travel
The two closest airports are Gibraltar (25 mins) and Malaga (55 mins). You have a wide choice of airlines including Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch, British Airways, Thomas Cook, Thomson.
To get the most out of your holiday we recommend hiring a car. An alternative method of airport transfer is to hire a taxi. Charges are in the region of 120 euros from Malaga and 40 euros from Gibraltar.
Distances
There are many places to visit including the famous village of Casares, Spain’s oldest city, Ronda, Puerto Banus, Marbella,
Sotogrande and of course Gibraltar from where you can take a trip to Morocco and a Dolphin Safari. All of these are within 20-30 minutes drive.
For our younger guests, Selwo Adventure Safari Park Estepona (20 minutes), Mijas Aqua Park and Fuengirola Zoo (40 minutes).

Sitting in the Duquesa Golden Mile, the Puerto de la Duquesa really is Spain’s best kept secret and when you visit us you will understand why.
The port has a wide range of amenities, affordable top class restaurants to suit all tastes, many boutiques and numerous bars. The local, uncrowded beaches stretch for miles where families can while away the hours in the company of the sea and the sand.
The Duquesa Golf and Country Club is nearby and from the marina you can enjoy sailing, windsurfing, jet skis and scuba diving. Duquesa combines luxury, leisure and the beauty of nature all in one place and whatever your age you are sure to relax, have fun and enjoy a marvelous holiday.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required on booking and the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure. If departure is within 8 weeks then full payment is required on booking. A refundable security deposit of £200 is required against breakages and damage which will be refunded within 10 days of return of the apartment keys to us providing our agent has found everything to be in order after checking the apartment inventory.

About the owner
Chris and Susan Beesley are management consultants working with SME's in the South East of England. They have owned and run businesses for more than 25 years. They also have a luxury chalet in the French Alps which is a ski business during the winter months since their passion is skiing. They have five grown up children and love to travel when they get the chance.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We wanted an apartment in a secure gated complex with a high quality specification that we could offer to guests who were looking for something just a little more luxurious and in a very peaceful location. The apartment had stunning views of the ocean as well as the surrounding area which included the golf course. The apartment is only a few minutes drive from all amenities of Sabanillas and the port which enjoys a great selection of bars and restaurants.
Unique benefits of the property
A swimming pool area shared with a very limited number of apartments making it almost a personal pool area. There is also a separate pool for children. Our apartment is on the ground floor with a lovely big terrace partly in the sun and partly in the shade - the best of both worlds. The pool area is only a moments walk across the lovely gardens and can be seen from the terrace.
