Apartment is in a small private block made up of 20 apartments located just 50 yards from the clubhouse and within a few minutes walking of a 5 star hotel - Hotel Vinnci.
The balcony overviews the 17th fairway and a lake (water hazard) with fountain. Islea Canela golf course is very flat with lots of water hazards. It hosted the Spanish Home Championships a few years ago. If you want a great golfing destination this is it. There are several courses within 10 minutes drive while across the border in Portugal (5 minutes drive away) there are lots of superb courses all within 10-15 minutes drive. There is a terrific choice of restaurants all within a few miles radius.

Complex has its own pool in use from May until October for exclusive use of residents with grassed sunbathing area adjoining.
Balcony is fully furnished. Views are across the 17th fairway, a large lake, and beyond that 15th green.
Coast/Beach
Islea Canela is technically an island connected by a modern bridge to the mainland with Ayamonte being the nearest town approx. 3/4 minutres drive from the apartment. It is a typically lively Spanish town with a population of just under 20,000 that gets very active in August when Spanish people from Madrid arrive to take their annual holidays. It is very much a non-typical tourist town.
Golf
Apartment is situated 50 yards from the Isla Canella Golf clubhouse. The course is very user friendly in terms of being extremely flat but because of the number of water hazards and strategic positioning of bunkers it is a difficult course to score really well on until one learns to plot ones way around. There is a choice of 10 other golf courses all within a 15 minutes drive -offering a terrific choice for all levels of competence.
Travel
Faro airport is the nearest which is approx: 45/50 minutes drive to Ayamonte - all on an excellent motorway.
Car hire is virtually essential.
Saville airport is a little further away.
Distances
Ayamont town is about 5 minutes drive away.
On the island of Isla Canella itself there are several attractive locations the two most prominent being the Marina (5 minutes drive) and the other being The Beach area (Playa) also about 5 minutes drive away. The beaches at both these locations are long, wide and sandy with restaurants located sometimes on the beach.
Further details
Ayamont is a busy town full of Spanish restaurants. It has first class shops and all the main banks have branches there.
