Our villa is located in a quiet residential area with fantastic views of the mountains and orange groves. It is detached, with lovely gardens and terraces to laze in the sunshine or lie in the shade under one of the palm trees and you can cool off in our private pool. If you visit at the right time of year you will be able to pick your own figs, grapefruit, oranges or lemons from our trees. The lovely old town of Denia with its beaches is a 20 minute easy drive away.

Prices are inclusive of bed linen, gas, water and electricity. Bath and hand towels are provided for use in the villa only. Towels for swimming or the beach are not supplied.

Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday during July and August with consideration given to other days of the week outside this period.

Bathrooms: 1 bathroom with shower cubicle 1.7 metres long with rain shower. Bathroom fully refurbished in 2008.
Kitchen: American style kitchen with 4 ring gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, filter coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster.
Utility Room: Utility room with Bosch automatic washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: Lounge has 3 & 2 seater sofas, wood burning stove, CD/tape player, flat screen TV with Freeview channels & DVD player. Ceiling fan. Sun lounge/dining room with table and 4 chairs and sofa. Large windows with extensive views of the mountains and valley.
Cleaning/towels/

Bed linen, bath and hand towels are provided for use in the villa only. Towels for around the pool or the beach are not supplied.

 

Notes on accommodation
The villa has oil-fired central heating for use from November to April inclusive and a wood burning stove. A surcharge will be made for use of the central heating. Air conditioning unit in the lounge, with ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the lounge. Pets are not permitted.

Outside
Covered parking for 2 cars. Beautiful, secluded garden with swimming pool and large tiled area. The garden has many trees and shrubs, providing shade from the sun, together with large areas for sunbathing, together with other terraces / seating areas to enjoy the beautiful views. Tables and chairs for alfresco dining, together with sun loungers and a large umbrella by the pool and another on one of the terraces. One of the terraces has an Outback 3-burner gas barbecue so you can dine on the patio whilst watching the sun go down over the mountains. The pool is approx. 7.5x4m x maximum 1.6m deep.

Coast/Beach
Denia beach is approximately 20 minutes drive.

Golf
10 minutes drive away at Pedreguer.

Travel
Alicante and Valencia airports are approximately 1 hours' drive away.
Car hire is advisable and can be arranged from Alicante and Valencia airports.

Further details
Orba is a delightful Spanish village which has a small weekly market on Wednesdays. The shops in the village, approximately a 5/10 minutes walk away, can provide all your needs, butchers, bakers, supermarkets, off-licence, restaurants and bars. Just down the road is an English bar/restaurant providing inexpensive food and drink and convivial company. Interesting limestone caves are situated in the next village of Benidoleig. Nearby Denia is a lovely old town with a castle, harbour, fishing fleet and lots of super shops, not to mention miles of golden sands, where boat trips are available along the coast. A fantastic drive into the mountains to the village and Moorish castle of Guadalest is well worth a visit.

Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. To reserve your weeks, please phone or email and they will be held while your bank transfer clears. A security deposit of £100 will be required with the balance and will be returned upon receipt of the keys and a report of no damage to the villa.

"Property located in small 'spanish' village, however, good mix of english ex-pats. Several good restaurants, English and Spanish speaking, local Cornish shop with good value meals. Selection of small shops, butcher, bakers. Property recently had new kitchen, bathroom fitted to excellent standard. Ample room inside and out for family of four or four adults. Well-maintained and to a high standard of cleanliness, excellent selection of untensils, microwave, washing machine, large professional gas barbecue and large fridge freezer.
Owners happy to accomodate wishes of renting party when purchasing welcome pack and easily contacted via mobile, text or telephone call. Highly recommended." The Sharpe Family.
