Mar Azul is a modern, contemporary, 3 bedroom villa on Monte de los Almendros. From the moment you walk through the beautiful stained glass door the awe aspiring views are breathtaking. One looks directly out to the sea and the 10th century Arabic castle, perched on the rock overlooking the old town of Salobrena. Several terraces provide sun and shade for al fresco dining or relaxing around the private secluded pool. A 10 minute drive will take you to the beaches of Salobrena and La Caleta. A 15 minute drive will take you to the Los Moriscos 18 hole golf course with driving range, putting green and full restaurant facilities and a terrace directly opening out onto the beach. As well as all the facilities at the villa, Monte de los Almendros has a large communal pool, children's pool, tennis court, and a 5-a-side grass football pitch - all free to use for all members of your party. From the hillside there are many walks plus you are less than an hour from skiing at Sierra Nevada.

Notes on prices
We include an allowance of 100Kw hours per week of electricity in the rental price. Additional usage is charged extra and deducted form your security deposit. This is to cover for air conditioning/heating and pool heating and to help prevent guests from leaving the pool uncovered when not in use and leaving windows and doors open when Air-con and heaters are turned on. For bookings of less than 2 weeks we charge for final cleaning at £75 which is deducted from your security deposit.
Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday although it is sometimes possible to change this (other than July and August), please enquire. Arrival time is after 4pm and departure is strictly before 10am.

| Living Rooms: | The living area is contemporary and open planned with an American style kitchen. There is Spanish and English digital TV, DVD player, CD/cassette music system, dining table for 6 and adsl wifi internet connection. |
| Other: | There are 2 large undercover decking areas/rooms outside that provide additional living space. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are provided and changed weekly. The villa is cleaned at every changeover. Pool towels are also provided. |

Heating and air-conditioning and pool heating is fitted and is charged extra when required. The pool is unfenced, so safety of young children is the responsibility of parents/guardians.

Accessibility
The villa is on 2 levels making it unsuitable for the elderly or people with mobility difficulties.
Outside
Outside the villa is fully equipped with sun loungers, patio furniture, BBQ, fridge and a private, secluded pool 8m x 3.5m. Heating for the pool is charged extra. There is plenty of shaded areas as well as sun terraces.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches by car are:
La Caleta - 5 minutes.
Salobrena - 10 minutes.
Golf
There is an 18 hole course at Los Moriscos (Motril) approx 15 minutes by car. Here, there is also a driving range, putting green and full restaurant/bar facilities.
Skiing
Skiing is at the Sierra Nevada, reached by car in approx 45 minutes. The season is normally November to April.
Travel
A car is essential and airport travel times by car are as follows:
Granada - 45 minutes.
Malaga - 70 minutes.
Almeria - 80 minutes.
Distances
By car the following places will take:

Salobrena - 10 minutes.
Motril - 15 minutes.
Granada - 45 minutes.

Further details
The town of Salobrena is only a 10 minute drive away, where there are supermarkets, shops, restaurants, banks (with cash points). The beach with cafes, bars, restaurants and beach shops is also close by. A further 5 minutes away is the larger town of Motril where there are many shops, supermarkets, banks, bars, restaurants and much more. Motril also has a yachting marina and a port. The capital city of Granada is only a 45 minute drive and has a wonderful array of shops and the magnificent Al Hambra Palace. A 30 minute drive will take you to Velez Malaga where there is a shopping Mall with designer shops, a hypermarket and a cinema complex.
Booking notes
A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance plus security deposit of £350/€400 is required 8 weeks before the holiday commences. The security deposit will be held against any loss or damage caused to the property or its contents and will be returned within 14 days of departure subject to a satisfactory report from the Managing Agents.
