Our apartment is on a new and private complex with three swimming pools, beautifully landscaped gardens and amazing views. It is situated in Mijas Golf which boasts two very popular 18 hole golf courses, Los Lagos and Los Olivos, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr and which can be seen from the terrace. Beautifully furnished to an exceptionally high standard, our air-conditioned apartment has marble floors throughout, sleeps 4/6 and consists of an open plan lounge with dining area, fully fitted kitchen, two bedrooms, en-suite bathroom, shower room, furnished terrace and utility room for pushchairs/golf clubs etc. It also has a private parking space in the communal garage and is only a few minutes walk from the golf course, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. For your entertainment, we have a flat screen 32" TV, DVD player and a selection of books in the television cabinet. Perfect place to enjoy a well-earned break in the heart of the Costa del Sol in Andalucia, Spain.

Changeover day
We are flexible regarding changeover day.

Fresh linens and a full clean is done prior to your arrival. Linens are changed once during two week bookings. Towels (except beach towels) are provided and blankets are available. |

Notes on accommodation
There are smoke alarms fitted for your safety so, if you wish to smoke, we ask you to do so on the terrace rather than inside the apartment.
Accessibility
The apartment is on the first floor with approx 12 steps however there are also lifts.
Outside
The terrace is furnished with comfortable seating, a coffee table and BBQ for you to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and stunning views.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are La Cala and Fuengirola which are a 10 minute drive away. Both are beautiful sandy beaches. Other beaches in the area include Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Marbella, Carahuela and Puerto Banus where you can find shops, bars, restaurants and watersports. Our personal favourite is Cabopino which is a 15 minute drive.
Golf
The apartment is a 10 minute walk from Los Olivos and Los Lagos. Both are 18 hole golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. There are many other golf courses along the Costa del Sol for you to try including Alhaurin, Santana and Miraflores within a 15 minute drive. Concessionary rates are usually available for early morning or twilight golf.
Special interest holidays
As well as being a very popular destination for golfing, the area is also very popular for walking and horse riding. There are also plenty of places on the Costa del Sol to go motorcross riding.
Travel
Car hire is recommended if you wish to explore the area however, taxis are available from outside the Hotel Byblos which is a 10 minute walk away from the apartment. Malaga airport is a 25 minute drive away and most low-cost airlines fly to this destination. It is also possible to get the train from Malaga airport to Fuengirola then a taxi from there which is cheaper than a taxi from the airport.
Distances
Mijas village 20 minute drive. Torremolinos 20 minute drive. Benalmadena 25 minute drive. Malaga 25 minute drive. Marbella 35 minute drive. Puerto Banus 40 minute drive. Gibraltar approx 90 minute drive using toll road.
Further details
There are several bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment however, if you would like to sample a wider variety and some lively nightlife, bustling Fuengirola and Benalmadena are a good choice.
There is an aqua park at La Cala de Mijas Costa and at Torremolinos, a Sea Life Centre at Benalmadena marina, and a very popular zoo at Fuengirola. The Miramar complex is a 5 minute drive away which has a wealth of shops and restaurants as well as a multi-cinema. The traditional and very beautiful Mijas village is a 20 minute drive away and well worth a visit for a real taste of Spain. The views are amazing and there are plenty of restaurants.
Gibraltar, Ronda and Granada are within easy reach for day trips. There is an Aldi and Iceland nearby if you wish to stock up for your stay. There is a pretty riverside park approx 10 minutes walk away and includes a bar.
Booking notes
A deposit of £100 is required at time of booking with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to your stay. A security deposit of £100 is also required which is refunded once the keys are returned and the apartment is checked.
