Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Welcome pack can be provided at a cost of £15,consisting of milk, bread, butter, eggs, cheese and wine. A deposit of £100 is required against damage/breakages. A separate cheque is required when making final payment and will be returned after departure.
Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible, property must be vacated by 10:00am on day of departure. The property is available for occupancy from 4:00pm on day of arrival.

Set in one of the most beautiful parts of Spain, Competa is approximately 17km inland from Torre Del Mar and Nerja and only one hours drive from Malaga Airport. One of the famous white villages of Axarquia, Competa glistens against the impressive back drop of the Sierras. It retains its old world character as typified by the traditional municipal market, but offers modern facilities including several small supermarkets, bakeries, chemists and banks.
Narrow streets wind around the village making a delightful place to take a stroll past the old houses. The surrounding area is mainly a farming community with many vineyards, olive and almond groves. The grapes are used to produce the strong wine for which the village is noted and dried to make raisins. Herb flavoured honey is another popular local product.
The Spanish people here are very friendly to foreigners coming to live or vacation in their village and make you feel very welcome. Many places of interest are within driving distance. They include the underground caverns at Nerja, the city of Malaga and the city of Granada home of the Alhambra Palace.
Only by a visit can you experience the timeless feeling of this wonderful area. To watch the goatherd tend his charges on the hillsides, the old men travelling out to their fincas on mules or sitting in the village square talking or playing dominoes and the ladies having a gossip on their doorsteps make you forget the rush and bustle and enjoy a step back in time to when life was lived at a more relaxing pace.

20% non-returnable deposit is required at time of booking.
Balance required 8 weeks before commencement date of holiday.
The property should be left in a clean and tidy condition on departure. If additional cleaning, over and above what would be considered reasonable is required, then this will be charged at a rate of £10 per hour.

Dear David & Karen, we had a great time and your villa was absolutely gorgeous, I will definitely recommend to my friends. My twins had a brilliant time around the pool and by the second week they had the confidence to sit on the steps, which was great to see. We hope to return to Competa at some stage as it really was superb location and great in terms of getting to other places in Spain.
