Coast/Beach
Barceloneta beach is the beach nearest to the city centre of Barcelona. Walking from Paseo de Colom towards the end of the Ramblas, you will have a 20 minutes walk to the beach. Barceloneta has very good restaurants serving fresh seafood caught in the same day. Barceloneta beach can be crowded during the high season at which it would be a good idea to visit the Icaria Beach, the beach next to the Barceloneta.
Travel
The airport of Barcelona, El Prat, is about 15km away from the apartment and 20 minutes in car. Other airports of interest are the Reus and Girona's airports used by low cost airlines and with the bus stop in Estacion de Francia, very close to the apartment (about 4 minutes walking).
