This well maintained house overlooking the 7th fairway of the 27 hole golf course is set in a secure and landscaped complex with its own pool and paddling pool, 2 tennis courts and has its own underground parking space. The private garden and patio area provides a lovely outside dining area including a barbecue. It is 10 minutes walk to the Golf Club and hotel and there are several other courses within 10 minutes drive. The beautiful sandy beaches which stretch for several miles are 15 minutes walk away and are lined by restaurants and hotels and there are water sports available in the summer. There is also a supermarket and a selection of individual boutique shops in Islantilla. The wide promenade runs parallel to the beach and is ideal for a stroll or run and popular from early morning to late into the evening. If you wish to go further afield it is only 20 minutes drive to the Portuguese border and the Algarve attractions including a water park. It is 1.5 hours to Seville.

Changeover days can be flexible to suit guests - subject to availability.

Notes on accommodation
There are fan heaters available for colder times of the year which can be used as fans in the summer. The roof terrace provides a a beautiful evening vantage point for the setting of the sun. There is a travel cot available if required and the pool area is separately gated off for safety.
Accessibility
There are steps up from the underground parking, although access is available via the paths around the estate without the steps. The accommodation is on three floors and the bathrooms are on the first floor.
Outside
There is a well maintained shared reasonably sized pool of about 10 metres length and a paddling pool in its own gardens enclosed by a picket type fence. There are also two tennis courts for use by the complex. The property has its own enclosed garden and tiled patio area with a barbecue and wrought iron table with four chairs. The roof terrace has a table and four chairs and two reclining sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The long sandy miles of beaches which are flanked by protected national park areas are 15 minutes walk away. There is a long and wide promenade that runs parallel to the beach for walking/running etc. There are also play areas along the beach front at Islantilla suitable for children of all ages. Cafes and restaurants can be found in Islantilla and La Antilla overlooking the beaches.
Golf
The property is built around a 27 hole championship golf course and driving range. There are several fantastic courses in the surrounding area all within 30 minutes drive, including Isla Canela. We can provide you with a local contact who can pre book rounds for you at discounted prices at Islantilla and other local resorts.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro which is 50 minutes away. Flights are now also available to Seville which is 1.5 hours away. Car hire/use of a car is recommended and details of a reliable local agent who operates out of Faro airport can be provided on request at very competitive prices.
Distances
Islantilla - 15 minutes walk. La Antilla slightly closer. The Portuguese border town of Ayamonte is 20 minutes drive away and this leads to the Algarve and the length to Cape St Vincent can be driven in just over two hours from the house. Seville - 1.5 hours drive. Cordoba, Jerez and Gibraltar are further than Seville but drivable.
Further details
Islantilla is 15 minutes walk away and has a supermarket and a selection of boutique shops and restaurants and four star hotels. La Antilla is a slightly shorter walk and boasts some local shops a small supermarket and a fresh local market in the mornings. There are some lovely fish restaurants as well as an Italian and a Chinese restaurant. There are banks and further shopping in Lepe (10 minutes drive) where there is a also a large hypermarket. Ayamonte on the Portuguese border also has plenty of shops and banks. Water sports are available on the beach and there is a water park in Portugal.
Booking notes
Bookings will be taken by email or telephone and will be secured by a 20% non-refundable deposit payable at the time of booking. Payments can be made by cheque or transfer of funds. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure by cheque or bank transfer. Keys will be securely sent to you prior to departure and should be returned in the same way within 5 days of return. A local agent on the same complex takes care of the property and can deal with any unlikely problems that arise.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We love the truly Spanish feel of the area, which has not been overdeveloped in any way. It is only 50 minutes from faro airport and so from leaving home for an early flight we can be sitting in the sun by lunchtime. The beaches are beautiful for a long walk and there are plenty of restaurants along the way to keep you fed and watered!
The golf courses around are plentiful and to a very high standard.
Unique benefits of the property
The roof terrace is lovely tranquil place to sit and soak up the last bit of evening sun and you can always watch the last golfers attempt the ravine.
It is only 15 minutes walk to the shops and beaches.
