Villa Maria (let as 2 bedroom or three bedroom depending on requirements) on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean, well equipped/comfortably furnished. There are steps from the parking area to the entrance, main living area is all on one level,comprises open plan living/dining room with open fireplace, satellite TV, radio and stereo, VCR and DVD and ceiling fan. Fully fitted kitchen has an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher; washing machine. 3 double bedrooms two with double beds(one with ensuite shower/toilet) and one with twin beds. Two bedrooms with fitted cupboards and ceiling fans. Bathroom/shower/toilet in main villa. Large terrace accessed from either lounge or kitchen and this is partly covered. Steps lead down from here to large pool terrace with built-in barbecue and shaded seating area with table and benches; sunloungers and outdoor chairs; pool-side shower. Although there is some road noise, this is far outweighed by the beauty of the location.

Prices are for rental of the property per week, not per person, in UK Pounds and is inclusive of cleaning and laundry for one week; electricity and water for the entire stay.

Notes on accommodation
Regrettably no pets and no smoking allowed. For an extra 25 euros, a foodpack can be provided on arrival consisting of: Water, Juice, Tea, Milk, Coffee, Red Wine, Bread, Butter, Jam, Eggs, Ham, Cheese, Tomatoes and Sugar.
Outside
Barbecue, outdoor furniture including sunloungers and outdoor chairs. Private swimming pool 7m x 4m. Around and beyond the poolside there are mature gardens which include palm and fruit trees and exotic shrubs and cacti, hibiscus, jacaranda, sisal, orange, lemon, young mango tree, clementine oranges, avocado, pawpaw (papaya), banana, custard apples.
Coast/Beach
We are on the coast and only approx. 5 minutes from Salobrena beach.
Golf
There is a 9 hole golf course between Salobrena and Motril called Los Moriscos. That is the golf course that is nearby to the villa. The 18 hole golf course is a 40 minute drive away at Torre del Mar called La Bavaria.
Skiing
Skiing (caters for range - beginner to more experienced) up to end April only approx 60 minutes drive away in the Sierra Nevada; underground parking, lifts into ski village, restaurants, hotels/hire shops.
Travel
Malaga (60 - 70 minutes drive away).
Granada (an hour away).
Almeria (2 hours away).
Use of car useful but there are bus services too.
Distances
Salobrena with its restaurants shops and beaches is 5 minutes away. Almunecar is 15 minutes drive, Motril (hypermarket) is 10 minutes drive and Granada with the fabulous Alhambra only an hour away. One of the few places in Europe where you can sunbathe in the morning and ski in the afternoon and vice versa.
Further details
Salobrena/Motril has all facilities that anyone could wish for as mentioned above. Other various places of interest include the Moorish Castle in Salobrena, the Alhambra, Granada and the Alpujarras.
Booking notes
Please email or telephone for availability. A deposit is requested on booking (50% of total rental which is non refundable). In the event of cancellation 2 months before rental due to commence 100% charge applied (you are advised to take out a travel cancellation policy). Final payment must be received before arrival. In addition please be advised there is a £150 damage deposit which will be retained and refunded less any breakages after the rental.
