2 communal pools, 1 large 1 small and a sauna. Pool is safe and has a lifeguard during the summer season. Great for families. Townhouse has a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with a fireplace. 2 sunny terraces, one with great views overlooking the countryside and mountains. The house is on the very edge of the urbanisation and you can be walking in the countryside in 2 minutes. There are great walks close by including a beautiful waterfall only 15 mins away with a pool where you can swim. On Sundays there is a local flea market just at the end of the urbanisation about 3 mins walk away. On Tuesdays there will be a local market on the same place. The house is very light and airy, comfortable and spacious. The house overlooks the countryside and the mountains and you can hear the dogs barking, see the horses and donkeys in the fields below and watch the swallows swooping around.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with twin beds, built in wardrobes, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers plus large window with view. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and a door to a small balcony. Bedroom 3 has a single an extra bed can be put in this room if required. |
| Bathrooms: | Upstairs there is a bathroom with bath and shower attachment, a wash basin, wc and bidet. Downstairs there is another bathroom with wc and wash basin. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is open plan to the dining area with hob, oven and extractor, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and fully equipped with crockery, glassware etc. |
| Utility Room: | There is an area with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a clothes dryer for drying in the sun. |
| Living Rooms: | The living area has 2 sofas, chest of drawers with chess, monopoly, cards etc. TV with cable channels - including BBC1, ITV1, ITV3, Hollywood movie channel in English plus channels in Swedish, Spanish, German etc. DVD player. Dining table with 6 chairs. |
| Other: | 1 terrace has a refrigerated cooler - great for drinks etc. plus chairs, table and umbrella for shade. The other terrace has table chairs and umbrella and fantastic views over the mountains - loads of birds swooping about. |

Towels and linen are provided. Beach towels on request. Final cleaning at the end of the stay, however a cleaning service can be requested - either daily or weekly if required. Maid service is available and a personal chef can also be arranged. |

Notes on accommodation
Portable air-conditioning units can be arranged for 70 euros per week. High chairs, cots etc. can also be arranged, enquire for details and prices. Well behaved pets could be accommodated, please enquire. The house and area is suitable for children of all ages. We can organise airport pick-ups or car hire if required.
Accessibility
The house is not adapted for wheelchair users.
Outside
There are 2 communal pools, one large and one small for children. The pools open at the beginning of May and close at the end of October. There is a sauna open all year with the small plunge pool also open most of the year. There is a large terrace area at the pool for sunbathing etc. There are communal well kept gardens. The house has 2 private terraces, one with fantastic views. Both with chairs, table and umbrellas for shade. Both have plants and an outside tap.
Coast/Beach
The Burriana Beach with restaurants, bars, beach bars, scuba diving, sailing, water sports etc. is a 5 minute drive or about a 15 min walk away. There is the naturist beach about 20 mins by car away. Many other beaches only 5 mins by car, with various levels of development or facilities - plus there are many isolated beaches with absolutely nothing but sea and sand.
Golf
There are a number of golf courses nearby, the nearest being Baviera Golf about a 15 min drive away.
Skiing
The Sierra Navada ski resort is about an hour and a half away by car and it is quite possible to go and ski in the morning and be back on the beach by late afternoon!
Travel
The nearest airport is Malaga, about an hour by car. It is most convenient to hire a car at the airport but there is also a bus service from Malaga along the coast to Nerja if you don´t want to hire a car. Airport pick ups can also be arranged, contact us for prices.
Distances
The famous Nerja caves are only 10 mins away. The white village of Frigiliana in the hills is only 20 mins by car. The Alhambra in Granada is an hour away, also the Sierra Navada ski resort about an hour and a half. The whole area is great for sightseeing and has numerous white villages to explore.
Further details
The shopping is good in Nerja, with supermarkets, banks and all facilities needed. About 15 mins away is El Ingenio, a shopping complex etc. Nerja has numerous restaurants and bars of all nationalities and types of cuisine. There are a few nightclubs in tutti fruitti square, and there are popular chiringuitos (beach restaurants) on the many beaches nearby. The white village of Torrox is 10 mins away.
Booking notes
25% deposit on reservation of property, the remainder due 4 weeks before the holiday. There is a 100 euro breakage deposit that is returnable after departure. For stays longer than 2 weeks there could possibly be a discount, please ask for details.

Really nice relaxed feel, had everything you required for self -catering would definately go again. Fantastic views from the balcony, nice and quiet in the town house but had choices and near enough with a walk or short taxi/car ride if you wanted more life. All the beaches great, lovely restaurants on the beach front and in the spanish quarters. Nerja really diverse, lots of choices, fantastic and safe for children and teenagers. Everyone really friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Nerja is a fantastic town, still very Spanish in flavour with a multi lingual population. The weather is fantastic, the beaches are excellent and there are loads of restaurants and bars to choose from. It is a good base for exploring the countryside or taking day trips to Malaga and Granada or further afield.
Unique benefits of the property
Close to the town but on the edge of an urbanisation so close to the countryside as well. Not a through road so no traffic noise. Great views over the countryside and the mountains. Walking distance to town and beach, or a short drive. Lovely communal pool and gardens, a restaurant 2 mins down the road. This is a loved property, let out by the owner so a reasonable rate and no management fees to cover.
