The villa is just 30 mins from Gerona airport. Just 5 mins from the main autoroute and 5 minutes to the nearest beach. Also the beautiful city of Barcelona is only an hours drive away. This is a perfect starting point to explore Catalonia and enjoy some authentic Spanish culture.
Further details
Tossa de Mar is a small fishing village where boats are still hauled up onto the beach to repair nets etc. Very popular with Spanish holidaymakers it has developed around the Old Town and its 2 beaches. There are no high rise buildings. Restaurants along the sea front and shops and bars in the pedestrian streets cater for all tastes. Tossa is an ideal base from which to explore Catalonia, Barcelona with its Gaudi architecture and the Picasso museum are to be mentioned and not missed. With plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes, this is the perfect place to spend a holiday.
