A very well appointed 6 yr old house which has been furnished to excellent standards. Has air-con in the lounge/dining room & 3 main bedrooms. Truly 'home from home', with everything you'd expect, including leather sofas, satellite TV/DVD, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine and 3 bathrooms. Secure off-road parking. In a quiet residential location, with good quality restaurants within a short walk. Built into a hillside with a lovely Mediterranean terrace garden. Terraces are South/West facing - get the sun all day, with lots of space for the sun-loungers. The top terrace has a covered area which gives very comfortable shade in the hottest parts of the day with large patio dining table and chairs and barbecue. Bottom terrace has plunge pool, loungers, dining table and chairs. Both terraces have refrigerators/facilities inside for cold drinks and snacks.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, fitted wardrobe, en suite & air-con.

Bathroom 3 is downstairs and has a powerful shower in cubicle, basin and WC.
Fitted, with an Ignis electric double oven and ceramic hob, s/s extractor, integrated fridge/freezer, Miele dishwasher and Bosch automatic washing machine. Microwave, toaster, electric kettle, halogen lights, iron/ironing board. A dining table/6 chairs.
Off the kitchen is an enclosed inner vestibule which has a telescopic clothes line and a shed containing all the necessary cleaning implements.
The lounge has three 2-seater leather sofas, a large oak coffee table, a 32" LCD TV with Sky, DVD, etc.
It has air-con plus 3 fan heaters for the winter.
The through dining-room has an oak dining table and 6 chairs. A matching sideboard and a wine rack.
The hallway has a dresser with mirror over. All stairways are airy and well-lit. There is a lockable wrought iron door off the hallway to prevent access to the pool for unsupervised children. 2 stair gates are provided for added security.
All household linen is provided. There are plenty of beach towels. In the pool area there is storage for pool-toys; lilos, etc.. The pool is maintained on a regular basis. The property is cleaned prior to each occupation.

Since the house is built into a hillside & has three storeys we do not feel that it is suitable for non-ambulant or disabled people.
The top terrace has a pleasant shrub and gravelled garden with beautiful bougainvillea shrubs covering the boundary wall. The adjacent large patio area has a barbecue and a dining table with 6 comfortable chairs. The refrigerator on the top landing is ideal for cold drinks and snacks. There are lovely sea views from this terrace. Both upper and lower terraces are south-west facing and sunsets are delightfully relaxing. The lower terrace has a plunge pool, access to a storage area for lilos & 'pool toys'. It forms a comfortable area for sun loungers and the table and chairs are large enough to sit for breakfast, lunch or supper. There is a sun-shade to keep you comfortable when you take meals 'al fresco' and light at night so you can enjoy the fresh open air. Although the terrace is at the front of the house it is not overlooked and is ideal for sun-worshippers to get a thorough tan.
Important notes on accommodation
For babies there is a microwave steriliser, a UV tent for the beach, a travel cot with mosquito net. For toddlers there is a sit-up chair which can be strapped onto an adult chair.
There are also two movable safety gates for the top & bottom of the stairs to give parents peace-of-mind. There is a lockable gate by the lower door so that unsupervised children can be safe.
There is air-conditioning in the lounge & 3 bedrooms.

Changeover day in high season is normally Saturday, but can be flexible. Arrival time is after 2pm and departure before midday. Again this could be flexible depending on bookings.
Would all prospective clients simply telephone or text Bev on her mobile to check availability and ask any questions that come to mind. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. Balance is due 8 weeks before travel together with a deposit of £100 to cover accidental damage and any other problem. This will be refunded 7 days after departure on completion of satisfactory inventory.

About the area
We are situated in the middle of the Costa del Sol. The whole coast of the Costa del Sol is made up of glorious sandy beaches which have safe bathing supervised by life-guards. The nearest beach is only a 5 minute drive away and stretches to 5 miles in length.
There are about 40 excellent standard & relatively inexpensive golf courses within easy driving distances. You can bring your own clubs or hire them at the course.
Special Interest Holidays
The house is close to the town of Torreblanca which merges with the bustling town of Fuengirola which has all the restaurants, shopping, amenities and nightlife you would expect from a lively resort town. Whatever sort of entertainment you require is available. Make use of the excellent local railway to enjoy the neighbouring resorts of Benalmadena, Arroyo, Torremolinos or historic Malaga.
The railway is punctual, clean, comfortable & inexpensive.
How to get there
We like to hire a car but lots of people have enjoyed their holiday here without having their own transport. Taxis are plentiful, so are buses and the local train service is convenient, cheap and clean. Many famous resorts are only short drives/train journeys away including Benalmadena, Arroyo de Miel and Torremolinas. A little bit further are Marbella, Puerto Banus, Ronda, Mijas and for a bit of Britain, Gibraltar. Take a day out and visit the historic Cities of Seville and Granada.
Within easy walking distance there is the excellent Rural Hotel and restaurant, called Las Islas which serves Mediterranean and Lebanese cuisine. The setting here is like an oasis with beautiful tall palms and a fabulous open air swimming pool (which unfortunately is only for the use of residents). There is a reasonably priced family restaurant (Monte Mar). This is in walking distance, although you do have to climb many steps to leave the development, and you will pass Casa Pepe- a 'greasy-spoon' which serves large helpings of steak and chips. The choice of wine is limited to 'red' or 'white'! There are many very good fish restaurants in Los Boliches and Fuengirola. One of our favourites is on the beach and is called Madrid Playa. They always have freshly-caught fish but the standard menu has excellent choice. Opposite is another good restaurant called 'Suave'. We have recently eaten there and the food is excellent.
You can take a taxi ride to 'fish alley' in Fuengirola where you discover lots of restaurants which will vie for your custom.
There are hundreds of fabulous restaurants, bars and clubs and I'm sure you will find plenty of your own.
Recent emails inform us that guests who do not have their own transport manage extremely well by walking to the front (downhill) and getting a taxi back. Taxis are numerous. We have received numerous comments from guests which are very positive about the cleanliness and amenities that the house offers.

About the Owner
The house is owned by two sisters and their husbands. It has provided them with some fabulous holidays and they would like others to enjoy it as well. It is not on a holiday complex but on a residential development where a mixture of Spanish and British live. It is quiet but is only a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of Los Boliches. It has been appointed to the very high standards that the two couples are used to and has everything that any discerning occupant could wish for.

Costa del Sol is a tourist destination of world renown. The property is in a residential area so is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, but is a mere 10 minute stroll from the long sandy beaches, with it's many restaurants and winebars.
