Villas Maremar, Olivio & Mariposa situated on a small private complex of individual villas are set in the middle of large citrus and olive groves. There are no ‘kiss-me-quick hat’ shops here! If you are looking for relaxation please read on. Only 15-20 mins from Murcia- San Javier airport or 15-20 minutes from the new Corvera airport (opening late 2011... hopefully), 20 mins from the sandy beaches, bars and restaurants of the Mar Menor (Little Sea) or the Mediterranean, 25 minutes from medium sized cities Murcia to the North and Cartagena in the South, you will never be without something to do. Many good quality shopping complexes (similar style to Trafford Centre in Manchester). Back at the villas you can enjoy the 8x4m pools until the early hours if you want to. Relax and enjoy the outdoors with barbecues on the poolside furniture. Watch the sun drop behind the mountains while sipping a dram on one of the balconies. Enjoy!

Changeover day is usually Saturday but may be flexible depending on time of year and bookings taken. Part weeks will be charged as follows: Less than 4 days at 50% of the listed price in the price list. 4 days or more at full week price.

Notes on accommodation
All properties are partially air-conditioned. All properties are insured but Clients should ensure they have suitable holiday insurance. The Owners do not accept any liability for accidents / injuries. Clients are required to notify the owner / local representative of any faulty equipment / fixtures or fittings. Bed linen and bathroom / washroom towels provided. We also provide beach / pool towels but expect the client to wash during their stay. Cleaning service provided after your stay. If you want a mid booking clean there will be an additional 50 Euro charge. Please book in advance or with the local representative. The pool is cleaned twice a week in the summer and once in winter. Phone numbers for pool problems will be provided prior to your stay.

Accessibility
Maremar / Olivio / Mariposa villas have not been specially adapted for disabilities but all properties are on a single level although entrance is via 5-6 steps.

Outside
Maremar - Private 8x4m pool, 6 sun loungers, parasols, extending teak table, 8 reclining chairs (pagoda), modern plastic table, 6 reclining chairs (rear balcony), modern cane/glass tables and 6 seats (front balcony) Charcoal and gas BBQ's. Table tennis table, 2 cycles available for use. Please repair if any damage occurs. 3 sets of golf clubs are available for use on request

Olivio - Private 8x4m pool, 6 sun loungers, parasols, BBQ table / benches, modern plastic table and 6 chairs (Balcony).

Mariposa - Private 8x4m pool, 6 sun loungers, parasols, modern plastic table, 6 chairs (pagoda), round wrought iron table and 4 chairs(front / pool balcony).

All gardens are fully secure with locking gates so children should be safe but should never be left unattended due to the risk of pool accidents etc. Pools are cleaned twice a week in summer months and once a week at other times. Access is via 4 submerged steps in the pools.

Coast/Beach
The Mar Menor (Little Sea) is a natural salt water lagoon of approximately 50sq miles. All around the Mar Menor are small towns and beaches some very quiet, some with excellent cuisine, bars and nightlife. The closest, is Santiago de la Ribera at approx 15-20 minutes drive. Adjoining towns / beaches of Lo Pagan is another 5 minutes north, then San Pedro another 5 minutes. Going south from Santiago de la Ribera is Los Alcazares, Los Narajos at a further 10 mins to name but a few.

Polaris World La Torre 5 minutes drive. Polaris World El Valle - 10 minutes drive. Mosa Trajectum 10 minutes drive. Sierra Golf 10 minutes drive. United Golf (9 hole) 15 minutes, Polaris World Requelme 20 minutes drive. Peraleja Golf 20 minutes drive. La Serena Golf 15 minutes drive. Roda Golf 25 minutes drive. Lo Romero 25 minutes. Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campomor approx 30 minutes drive. La Manga 35-40 minutes drive.

Special interest holidays
Diving, walkers (mountain and National San Pedro del Pinatar approx 20 minutes drive is quite famous for its important wetlands and mud flats where each year flocks of flamingos and other migratory birds shelter here and use this natural space as a stopping off point between Africa and Europe. In addition, the mud here is thought to have therapeutic properties and therefore attract large numbers bathing. Other interests: Water sports, cycling routes, fishing, scuba Parks). Karting.

Travel
Driving in the area is very good as the road network is excellent, but, if you want to go off the beaten track, no problem we provide a TomTom with key places of interest and the villa so you will always get home. A car is essential but travelling around the area is quite simple so don't worry about the driving. Dual carriageways and motorways link the main places to see. Airports: Murcia San Javier is 20 minutes. Corvera (due for completion 2011) is 20 minutes. Alicante is 1 hour drive.

Distances
A TomTom navigator will be provided that has a number of popular places stored for easy navigation but, as a guide,
Murcia city 28km / 25 mins drive. Cartagena city 46km / 30-35 mins. Santiago de la Ribera 21km drive.

Further details
There are no shops, bars on the complex as it is a private residential estate. The closest shop for provisions / newspapers is at Polaris World La Torre 5 minutes drive. La Torre also has bars restaurants and golf clubhouse. The closest bar / restaurant is Valle del Sol Restaurant or Navvaro at the end of the road, walkable but not when it's 30 degrees, so drive time of 3 minutes. 5 minutes drive in the other direction there are a couple of bars / restaurants. Balsicas is the nearest town which has shops / petrol stations / banks / restaurants (Spanish, Indian, Chinese etc.) and supermarkets at approx 7 minutes drive.
