One bedroom town house on the edge of the beautiful white washed village of Casarabonela. The house has a terrace overlooking the mountains and olive groves. Situated in a perfect place to explore the old winding streets and the remains of the Moorish castle. The municipal swimming pool (pool only seasonal opening times) and bar situated at the top of the village with a beautiful mountain backdrop. Rustic sunshades and 2e entry fee for the day. (2011 prices). Ideal for bird watches and walkers with many mountain walks . Binoculars provided. The house is an ideal place to explore the lakes of Ardales, the lunar landscape of El Torcal and the old historic town of Antequera, or head down south for the costa with its many sandy beaches and multitude of bars and restaurants for every taste and palate. Sitting on the terrace you will often see the odd Mule passing after a hard days work a herd of goats or sheep moving from grove to grove or an Andalucia horse prancing for all to admire.

40mins drive to Torremolinos beach and many other down the coast within easy driving distance from the busy commercial to the simply go and relax.
Many bars and restaurants all the way along the coast.
Golf
Golf clubs ladies and gents for your use free of charge. Nearest golf clubs 40mins drive at Alhaurin El Grande but many more on the coast within easy driving distance. Discounted golf can be arrange.
Special interest holidays
Casarabonela is ideal for bird watches and walkers. Quad bike organised trips can be arranged going to El Chorro dam, Lakes and surrounding areas
Travel
Malaga airport 40mins drive. The house is within easy walking distance of shops and supermarkets but to beable to enjoy and explore real Spain car hire would be recommended. Airport collection can be arranged but preferably booked in advance, poa.
Distances
The village of Alozaina is 20mins drive and in the oppersite direction the villages of Alora and Pizzara are a similar distance. If you want to do a bigger shop Coin is only 30 mins drive, Ronda 50mins, El chorro and the lakes (a must to visit)30mins, Marbella and Puerto Banus 60min, driving northwards El torcal and Antequera 60mins.

Casarabonela has two supermarkets which are quite adequate for your everyday needs. Many bar and restaurants A municipal swimming pool (seasonal) with bar and restaurant. (The bar is open all year round). Bakers, butchers, fishmongers. Two banks with atm machines and video shop with telephone kiosks and internet access..
Booking notes
Non refundable deposit of 50% is required when booking. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to departure. A 50 pound security deposit is required with the balance and refunded following an inspection of the property after departure.
Owner profile
About the owner
Bill and myself moved to the village of Casarabonela in 2005. We look round many places before eventually deciding on a town house in the village. After two years we sold our town house and moved in to the campo (countryside) were we built our one bedroom house in a olive grove surrounded by the mountains and our much loved animals. We visit the UK occasionally but only for a short period to say hello to our relatives. We are always happy to be home.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
For us Casarabonela is the ideal location. Near Malaga for many airport runs of friends and family, we both love golf so close for the many stunning golf courses and still living in an area which retains its Spanish charm and peacefulness. True bliss.
Unique benefits of the property
The great benefit of our village house is being able to park outside the house after a long day exploring and then simply unwind and watch the world go by and sun set on the terrace or a short stroll to the bars and restaurants.
