Our apartment is ground floor with patio (incl dining furniture) and large garden suitable for small children.The complex is beautifully landscaped with colourful flowers and lots of lush grass. The complex has 2 large swimming pools which both have surrounding grass areas and therefore safe for children. The complex has 1 tennis court and 2 paddle courts. The apartment has a dedicated underground parking space which is less than 30 steps to the front door.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Vera Playa (Blue flag) is just 5mins by car. This beach has easy parking and good facilities. There are also beaches at Garrucha, Puerto Rey and Mojacar which are only a short car journey away.

Located within a short drive are 4 golf courses.

Sierra Nevada ski resort is situated approx 2 1/2 hours away by car.
Travel
Almeria Airport is approx 45 mins drive. Murcia Airport approx 60 mins. Alicante approx 1hr 45 min. A car is recommended.

Distances
Beach, Bars, Restaurants and Water Park are 20 mins walk or 5 Mins in car. The town of Vera with shops/restaurants and bars is 5 minutes away by car. Two large supermarkets only minutes away.
Fishing port of Garrucha with marine, promenade, shops and beautiful fish restaurants 10 minutes by car. Mojacar Playa with its long clean sandy beach, numerous restaurants, bars, shops and cycle path is only a 15 minute drive.

Mini Hollywood: Mini-Hollywood is the longest established of three theme parks existing in the area. The other two 'Western Leone' and 'Texas Hollywood' are still part-time working film locations. Mini-Hollywood is now entirely given over to the theme-park business and provides a variety of attractions, which include, a twice daily simulation of a spectacular Wild West gunfight when bandits ride into town to hold up the bank, a carriage museum, a film museum, a cactus garden and an animal zoo. This is around 45 mins drive from Vera.
Booking notes
Prices are per week in UK Pounds. A £100 non-refundable deposit secures the booking. Balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure along with a refundable deposit of £75 as a key/ breakage deposit. On arrival at the apartment, there will be a person on site to hand over keys and give a brief explanation of the the facilities available.(Person can also meet locally to guide you in from airport).
