The delightful property of LOV is situated at 800m and lies amongst centuries old organic olive groves, originally planted by the Moors, giving very private and tranquil surroundings. From the poolside terrace enjoy a magnificent view of the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada with whitewashed villages and shady woodlands sweeping down to the valley floor. The cortijo is truly idylic in its setting with each season bringing its own delights.This is a place to be for a totally relaxing and stressfree vacation. The cortijo is very light, spacious, well equipped and with its love to detail offers you a home away from home and a warm welcome. The thick walls, double glazing and insulated roof ensures a cool house in summer and a cosy warm home in winter. The helpful but unobtrusive owners live nearby.

Saturday. Arrival after 4pm and departing by 10am.

| Kitchen: | The open plan kitchen is enhanced by the traditional wooden beam ceiling. The kitchen is very spacious. It offers lots of modern electrical appliances, coffee machine, food processor, toaster, microwave, gas cooker/oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine. |

Notes on accommodation
A potent cast iron wood burner warms the entire home in cooler winter nights. Wood for wood burner not included in rental price. Basic food supplies as tea, coffee, milk, juice, spices, sugar, salt, rice, pasta, flour, vinegar, organic olive oil, soja sauce, bread, honey, eggs, tomato sauce, etc are provided along with any amount of organic fruit and vegetables you care to pick.
Outside
The large, partly roofed private terrace with barbeque, garden furniture and sunbeds offers stunning views over the sierras. The filtered pool (6m x 4m x 1.9m) is strictly private. On the second terrace in front of the cortijo you can catch the last rays of the evening sun or admire a star lit sky at night.

The nearest beach is Salobrena at 35 km - in summer a 45 min drive.
Golf
Nearest golf course in Salobrena - 35 km away.
Skiing
It will take you 1.5 hours by car to get to the Sierra Nevada ski resort. Definetely worth a day trip. Fantastic views of Granada and the coast. Skiing equipment can be rented per day.
Travel
Nearest airport Granada 50km, 1 hour by car. Malaga airport 120km, 2 hours by car. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Orgiva 7 min by car. Granada 45 - 60 mins by car.
Further details
Orgiva, the nearest village, lies about 500m below LOV and 5km downhill. Youll find banks, cash machines, post office, various supermarkets, 2 health shops, a police station and an emergency health centre. A GP, English spoken, lives nearby. Orgiva has developed into a small centre of alternative culture, combining old Spanish tradition with ecologically minded influence of the foreign community. Bookings can be made in advance for massage or reflexology sessions in your holiday home (payment on delivery).

A non-returnable deposit of 200 Euro per week is required at time of booking with the balance being due 6 weeks before arrival date.
