The apartments overlook the Mar Menor with beautiful views of the hills and surrounding countryside. There are a variety of restaurants around the Marina - French, Spanish, Italian, Mexican, Greek, etc - some of them directly overlooking the Mar Menor. The apartments overlook the Mar Menor promenade with easy access to the beach. There is a well stocked supermarket within walking distance of the apartment.

Extra charges applicable to all bookings. Administration/cleaning charge: £60. Booking deposit (non returnable). £100 for 1 week, £200 for 2 weeks. Damage deposit: £100 (returnable approx 2 weeks after vacating). Full amount payable 6 weeks before arrival, non-refundable.

Notes on accommodation
The apartments are situated at the Northern end of La Manga (the Sleeve). The Mar Menor, a large inland sea, has an average depth of 1.7 metres and is ideal for the watersports available and for children to play on the sandy beaches happily.
Outside
The apartments overlooks the Mar Menor and well kept gardens. There is a large shared swimming pool with stunning views of the Mar Menor, a tennis court and well kept gardens surrounding the apartments. There are ample parking facilities outside the apartment.
Coast/Beach
The apartments are frontline and the sandy beaches are a few minutes walk away.
Golf
A new 9 hole golf course with driving range and clubhouse overlooking the Mediterranean has recently opened, approximately 5 minutes drive away.
Travel
40 minutes from Murcia airport (San Javier). (Flybe, Ryan Air, bmi baby, Monarch, Easyjet, Jet2.com). 80 minutes from Alicante airport (all major airlines). A car is not essential as there is a good bus service but it is recommended.
Distances
La Manga Club is 30 minutes away by car and its facilities include golf, tennis and many restaurants.
Cartagena (Roman City) is a busy historical city with many historical sites to visit, a marina, shops and many fine restaurants.
Cabo de Palos is a small fishing village at the beginning of the La Manga strip with some very busy restaurants selling traditional fish dishes. There is a very popular market on Sunday mornings open throughout the year.
Further details
The apartments are within easy walking distance of local shops including a supermarket, chemist and two Spanish banks. There are boat trips from the Marina to an island in the Mar Menor where there is a fish restaurant open throughout the Summer. There is also a ferry which runs 2 hourly throughout the year to the other side of the Mar Menor. All kinds of water sports are available - including diving, kite surfing and sailing.
There is also a sailing school in the marina offering 2 day courses for ICC certificates (contact details available).
Booking notes
To book the apartments telephone the owner. A security deposit of £100 is charged for breakages and damage. This will be returned two weeks after vacating the apartment. The full amount is payable 6 weeks before departure. Discounts available for stays longer than 1 week.
