3-bedroom, detached villa with its own private pool in La Zenia, only 10 minutes drive from Torrevieja. The villa has satellite TV, a CD/stereo system, video, private pool, BBQ, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker/hob, microwave fridge-freezer and a fully fitted kitchen. There is 1 bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs. The villa has 3 bathrooms (all have showers, 2 with baths), a large living/dining room with space for 6 around the large dining room table as well as a sun terrace upstairs. There is space around the pool for a table and chairs (provided) and the pool has a self-contained spa at one end. Air conditioning is provided free of charge and there are 2 calor gas heaters. There are stairgates fitted for extra protection if you have small children and a free travel cot. The nearest beach is 10 minutes walk with many more close by; there are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance as well as 2 supermarkets. There are 3 major golf courses within 10 minutes drive.

Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday preferred during the peak season; flexibility possible by prior agreement.
Arrive at the villa around 2.30; depart around 10.30 - flexibility by prior arrangement.
Our local agent will meet you at the villa with the keys.

The property is fully cleaned prior to arrival and after departure at no extra cost. Clean linen and towels are provided for all rooms when you arrive and a change of linen is available during your stay for a small additional charge.

 

Notes on accommodation
Stair gates are fitted for extra security for children and a travel cot is provided free of charge. Air conditioning (hot and cold) is provided free of charge in lounge/diner and upstairs bedroom and there are 2 calor gas heaters. The property has an alarm and a safe is provided free of charge.
Video library provided including 20 Disney films, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings trilogies, Fawlty Towers complete series, Grease, Sound of Music, Gone with the Wind, the Italian Job and others.

Outside
The villa has its own private pool (approximately 8m x 4m) with a self-contained spa at one end. Sun loungers, a table with chairs and a shade is provided for the pool area.
There is a large sun terrace on the roof with a table, chairs and shade provided. This is a great place for an early evening BBQ - also provided.

Coast/Beach
The area has wonderful beaches all of which have attained the highest standards from the EU for cleanliness. The water is warm from April onwards and the beaches are sandy and accessible. All have either beach bars or restaurants very nearby. The waters are shallow and generally very safe for children. Many have playgrounds and good facilities for children.
The nearest beaches are 10 minutes walk including the blue flag La Zenia beach. Many more are 10 minutes drive away.

Golf
10 minutes drive to Las Ramblas, VillaMartin and Campaomor. Along the motorway, Algorfa golf is a 20 minute drive and La Manga resort is approximately 45 minutes. Mosa Trajectum, the golf and sports centre, is 30 minutes drive near Murcia.

Travel
Murcia airport is 20 minutes drive.
Alicante airport is 35 minutes drive.
Car hire is not essential as all amenities are close by and the main bus route runs nearby. However if you wish to fully explore the area a car is preferable.

Distances
Torrevieja is 10 minutes drive and is the main town for shopping. It also has a good market on Saturday and evening by the marina.
Other local markets are within 10 minutes drive. VillaMartin plaza with its wide choice of restaurants around a lively square is 5 minutes drive.
A short drive away is an equestrian centre, a water park and a go-kart circuit. La Manga is 45 minutes away and Benidorm is an hour along the motorway. Terra Mittica, Europe's largest adventure/theme park, is at Benidorm.

Further details
Children are welcome at all restaurants and the dress code is very informal.

You can walk to a wide range of restaurants including Thai, Chinese, Indian, Spanish, Italian, Mexican as well as pubs, bars and a karaoke restaurant.

VillaMartin plaza has restaurants to suit all tastes on 2 levels with outdoor eating in the summer around a pretty square.

There are good restaurants at the golf clubs and the beaches.

The nearest supermarket is at the end of our road. They have a good range of provisions, excellent fresh bread, same day English newspapers and very good tapas to take away. The main supermarket is 2 minutes drive and there is a huge Carrefour near Torrevieja.

You can change money at VillaMartin plaza.

There are many shops within walking distance providing Internet access.

Booking notes
25% deposit secures the booking and the balance is due in full no later than 6 weeks before departure. The deposit will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled for any reason or if the full balance is not received by the due date in which case the booking will be cancelled automatically. Once payment has been received no refunds are available though every effort will be made to re-let the property.
